now thats a nice set up. ive just moved into a new house and building a new gun room. looking for options on mounting presses. i have plenty of room now but dont want to junk up the bench. having a modular system is great. you can keep all the presses and other items in a cabinet and select the ones you need. perfect.

IF ANYONE is dealing with this unit, I promise you to NOT trust that it will work with a JR2 or 3 with a 4” riser. I am redesigning things to accommodate that issue. I spent a lot of time designing my bench to allow the t track system and with a 4” riser only to find out it won’t clear the edge of the bench. I am removing the top plate and taking it down to have a 2” extension on the top plate to give it room to clear the edge of the bench. My only other choice was to raise the height and get a taller riser, which I did not want. I like the system but honestly, I was rather dismayed to realize it would not work with a simple JR2 press, without modifications.

Great video, love that work bench and the t-tracks, question, I was going to try and do something similar with a 3/4" piece of plywood as the bench top but it doesn't look like I'd have to much to grab onto once I routed out for the tracks, what size (in depth) bench top would you recommend? Again awesome video as usual.

I used a sheet of 3/4"ply cut to bench top size, routed out the inlays, There really is not much lift using gavins inline Fab. system you are just snugging to the top of the track. you can back up the Track area with 4" strips of 3/4 ply underneath the top and use longer screws
