You are not correcting Nearsightedness as you say at the beginning. What you are correcting is Farsightedness. Nearsightedness is corrected with a negative focal length.

I did a calculation and find this. İf one plate has area A and other has area B Then capacitance equals C=(B*A*2*e0)/((B-A)*d). However I am not sure.
