I asked the Lord to be my Shepard on December 12, 1989 in a computer room in Ft. Smith. I had asked twice before and I'm sure He got right the first time, but I wanted to do it alone for some reason. My journey took a few turns after that day but the Father and His angels charted the rest of my life. I am 61 now. God did for me what I could not do for myself. The first time I heard this song I literally balled my eyes out. I never felt so much love and hope come from a song before. Especially being a recovering addict. I felt like I never deserved Gods love or his forgiveness but after hearing this song it completely changed my mind and my heart and soul as well. He really is there for all of us. Amen!! It's amazing how powerful and unconditional the Love that God has for us. It is the sick who need a doctor, not the healthy. He has saved my life literally 2 times from ODing. I was hanging out with some so-called friends trying Spice for the first and ONLY time when I dropped dead on the bed. These 2 girls were freaking out and was gonna take my body outside in the hall, just then a woman who was staying next door was on the way home and the Lord spoke to her and sent her to that room to give me CPR. She must have been an angel. After that time I still couldn't quit my addiction I was too deep and the devil had his claws in me, but Jesus still never gave up. He said Angela it isn't your time yet! What the enemy means for evil God will turn it around for good. All Glory to God! The truth is if the person doesn't know Jesus they are sick.🔥💖

I've done so many things i shouldn't have done and i don't see anything wrong with it at the moment and i find out after the fact that i totally shouldn't have done it. i love the Lord for his mercy and compassion that he has on me and everyone like me. whenever i do something wrong i come to worship and prayer and He continues to work wonders in my life and at the same give me trials and tribulations to deal with with him at my side. Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. On April 27, 2011 my state had a very bad day weatherwise. My home was in a corridor about 10 miles in width in which 28 tornadoes passed through that day. I was trying to get home to my family and I'm watching this monster of a tornado while the radio is telling me it is heading for my neighborhood. I prayed like it came from the marrow of my bones. A peace came over me that I can't describe. He does hear and He does "show up". Be strong enough to get on your knees.

But as 4 me, I will no longer pray for God 2 anoint my lips 4 my own purposes, I will pray instead 4 God 2 anoint my lips 4 Him. If His purpose is 4 me 2 walk alone through my years, with only my Lord 4 company as I reach out 2 the world 2 bring justice, righteousness & mercy, then so be it. I've done so many things i shouldn't have done and i don't see anything wrong with it at the moment and i find out after the fact that i totally shouldn't have done it. i love the Lord for his mercy and compassion that he has on me and everyone like me. whenever i do something wrong i come to worship and prayer and He continues to work wonders in my life and at the same give me trials and tribulations to deal with with him at my side. I love the Lord!!!

Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.

As a much older Christ follower I would like to see us all practice what we preach. It is no wonder the world thinks we are hypocrites, because we are. All the talk of love and acceptance is no good unless we can love as Christ did.

If you don’t believe what I just said, just read and meditate a lot on the whole chapter 15 of the Luke’s Gospel and also on the verses 44 and 45 for the chapter 5 of Matthew’s Gospel…
I don't pray to Mary, or say the sinner's prayer, or go to confessional. I Pray to MY GOD, His mercy is renewed everyday, and i go to my pastor for counsil, not to blab about all the things i've done wrong. There is only one God!! His name is JESUS! That's what i believe and Always will. But it's one thing to shove it down's people's throats. God chooses his people.

On April 27, 2011 my state had a very bad day weatherwise. My home was in a corridor about 10 miles in width in which 28 tornadoes passed through that day. I was trying to get home to my family and I'm watching this monster of a tornado while the radio is telling me it is heading for my neighborhood. I prayed like it came from the marrow of my bones. A peace came over me that I can't describe. He does hear and He does "show up". Be strong enough to get on your knees.

We just need to remember that 1000 years is as but a day to an eternal God. So what is soon to Him might not be soon to us. But the word says the day Jesus comes back will come like a "thief in the night" and many still will be caught off guard though we tell everyone he is coming soon. so yes we must tell everyone to be ready.

But as 4 me, I will no longer pray for God 2 anoint my lips 4 my own purposes, I will pray instead 4 God 2 anoint my lips 4 Him. If His purpose is 4 me 2 walk alone through my years, with only my Lord 4 company as I reach out 2 the world 2 bring justice, righteousness & mercy, then so be it. I pray God anoints your lips, but that God also teaches you His wisdom. If it is His will, may He answer your prayer.
