U really think that was a mistake??? It was actually good for the people doing the stunts... As it helps with the rolling and last second dodges without making it look fake... Cuz remember JOHN WICK movies are so popular only cuz they show an "almost" real action...

I believe the props department puts foam pads on the soles of the shoes to reduce the noise, which may be a reason he is unable to get a stable grip on the floor
