What I love about your build is that is a rock crawler and an overlander. I don't know why some people think their ride must be one or the other. Both are great to do and why not do both?!
Hey my long time friend !!)) you are absolutely right ! why not both and I feel like Xterra is a great platform for it.. to be able to do both in it thank you again for all your comments all the time !
@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO Oh yeah, never was an issue for my truck because I have a manual. Also I get to skip the timing chain issues lol. I've had it for ~6yrs, only issues are I did have to replace the transmission (pretty sure previous owner was real rough on it) and recently I had a rear axle seal leak despite having the differential breather mod (installed by previous owner). Having this little exchange reminds me I need to check that hose for blockages. Overall love this truck, plan to run it until it dies.
Thank you very much ! glad you liked it ! as for dual catch cans well one on the passenger side is a must its the only actually works and catches oil .. 2nd one on the driver side.. well turns out not really needed and I might even remove it .. I think its only needed if its a v8 engine lol
Thank you buddy !! and to tell you the truth it will be some what a hybrid I am leaning more into overlanding /camping build as well slowly I am adding more stuff that will help me out in the nature off grid ) I mean I do still like off road and rocks BUT sometimes you want to just drive away somewhere to middle of nowhere and just enjoy the nature and escape the crazy world we are living it even for few days . You know what I mean...
@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO Thats what made me want to start building my Xterra up, is camping. I figured if could drive to where i wanted to go, its easier than hiking in (i like hiking though too). You can bring a canoe or kayaks with you or just the fact of bringing more toys out to test and try out. And knowing you Could live off the grid, at least for a while, is always a good feeling.
@@Mr_Chode Oh yes defiantly its a good platform to build it up from, I mean yes its not the biggest so It has some limitations but at the same time it is easier on the trails to drive out then on the big rigs there so it has easier to get to more different remote places
Thank you very much !! if you asking about front bumper that is made by Shrockworks, it was a gift to me by one of my friends )) but I think that company is closed down now
Love that mod, but I don’t have the balls to do that on my X! Are you worried about any of the double sided tape coming off due to the heat of the engine?
Hey well maybe one day you can do this never know ?))) and only one way to find out , so time will show lol I will be the guinea pig in this test . But its been some time since install truck been on the heat of the sun and I dove it for hours and so far so good . .. knock on wood it stays that way lol

Wow dude! That is so sweet! I like that but I don't really need it... Maybe I can find a smaller one and stick it on the wet box 😂

Nice work!! Always appreciate your videos!

Stan! You don’t need the gas stove/burner any more! You can cook your eggs and bacon right on the solar panels on a sunny day now!😂
hahaha thats funny Maxim and its true in the way )) but just wait... there is more to come, more places to cook stuff on soon hahaha 😅
@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO that’s what I’m saying! Perfect setup for camp kitchen!
This is a sweet upgrade, extra power and charging capabilities are great. You going to do any overland/camping with the Xterra in the future?
