I only play DL format, and we are only recently getting some of the crazy decks from the past few years. I can already swap like every other Link-4 I use with Unchained Abomination. I would even opt to use it instead of Borrelsword Dragon because of how much easier it is to get out, and the multi-stage pop effects really make a difference. I got to shock my opponent with it the very first day I could tech it in. It fits with like all of my decks! The changes I want to see in TCG so far are this: Verte to 1 (maybe) Nibiru to 1. Maxx to 1. Like all handtraps to 1. Imperm to 1 or 2. Super Poly to 1. Way more to come. I want to see decks with more in them. Actually specialize! Even with my use of a set of cards in like every deck as a backbone (all front row stuff and pends, no handtraps), I still try to work with a wide set of tools, and I have found that going off meta can actually be better.
let me guess: ur a SE player? putting pot on banned that goes +0 while u give ur opponent info what u play and losing 3/6 cards of the ED while keeping flameberge that goes +5 unlimited i only play MD and there u see that consistant hit dont do anything. we got SE ash and wanted on 1. and bonfire at 2 and pure SE, rescue SE and fireking SE been way to dominant. banning oak does nothing same as what ppl suggess banning temple. this arnt the problem cards of the fire dominance. flameberge, princess and OSS are the biggest problem cards. OSS shouldnt be banned because as u say its a bridge specially if more diabell cards comes out (like white wood). so princess and flameberge both need to go, princess probably stays because of other fire decks like salamand. for all floodgates i agree they should be banned but tbh there are only 4 decks that actually can use shifter (floo = dead, kash = dead, exosister = weak deck, vanqish = not popular atm) yes there are maybe few that can play under it like tempai or lab but they hurt themselfs with it. shifter at 2 like in MD looks fair specially if u look on his restriction (empty gy) so a simple ash or imp that u use makes it to a full brick beside of discard fodder
This was recorded before Azamina was announced, and upon seeing those card, I agree that Flamberge needs to go. While Snake-Eyes is only as strong as its end board pieces (I:P -> S:P, Apo + handtraps), it's getting to the point where now with the FS and Azamina engines, the deck just plays through too much. As for Shifter, I'm not taking back my stance on that. That card is toxic and has no place in YGO.

First, prosperity although does banish 3-6 and shows what you’re playing, it could be a valid card to ban considering Tenpai is releasing soon and can OTK through prosperity. I shouldn’t need to mention how Tenpai is an absurd deck already but in best of 1 and extremely good 1 card combos in modern yugioh overall it’s definitely a banger worthy card . Next as for the ban list stuff again I have no idea what game you’re playing because SE pure has clearly been a weaker deck with consistency hits. What made SE good was its consistent ability to go into generic broken extra deck monsters, and this is a trend among all good decks in MD right now (cough cough yubel). Promethean and OSS are decent ideas however it’s clear if you don’t like SE or any variant of it for that matter, Flamberge is the clear problem. It’s sets up IP, it’s removal, summons 2, and can go into Dis Pater/Baronne easily???? It’s a ridiculous card that shouldn’t exist. I will say though I completely agree with your take on shifter, I like it at 2 right now because it’s not too oppressive but the decks that can be good with it are rogue-low tier 3 at best the best being Kash and that’s a real example of consistency hits doing its job). It could be a problem when the new Malice cards come out but we’ll have to see. Lastly we need to talk about the blatant problems, Beatrice, Appo, and maybe Heaven. Beatrice and Appo are 2 absurd cards that could exist when they came out but definitely not in modern yugioh, evident by Yubel and SE variants abusing them. Last is closed Heaven which honestly is questionable because although it’s true Heaven is what makes Fiendsmith Generic, it’s only facilitated by Requiem every time and I’d argue it should be banned not a card that is explicitly good for its type and attribute. It prevents Konami from preventing any light fiends which sounds specific but with all the new fiend link support we’ve gotten I’d argue it’s inevitable.

Yes technical isn't SE or yubel a OTK but for real it is because if u can negate everything ur opponent can't do anything = so autowin Specially in MD a bo1 format Im happy if tempai releases a least a deck that when I lose coin flip (what I'm doing 70%) I have a chance to win. For the consistency hit. SE doesn't care. It doesn't matter what card they drew on the end they will resolve SE ash anyway even if its on 1 because every card leads to it. Kash is a bad example for consistency hit because A) Kash Has only a handful in engine cards B) cards like thesis birth big bang doesn't do anything on their own) it was guttet because stuff like SE abuse the splash able cards. Pure Kash isn't playable because to many key stuff was banned. Not to mention pure Kash was never in MD viable

The games would be incredibly die roll heavy, with games being determined by either who had the better hands or whoever was able to Lacrima burn in time. The only other decks that could compete at a reasonable level were Tenpai and Runick Stun, both of which aim to let your opponent play as little Yugioh as possible. The game CAN be interactive, fun, and interesting. However, it’s incredibly frustrating at the same time. We are not complaining purely to complain, we are simply trying to make our game better, because it already is a fun experience, but suffers from some very unfun parts. As for your comment about October, once ROTA comes out, Snake-Eyes will be the best deck (by a long shot) again. The playerbase is tired of the deck. I am personally tired of playing it. We’re just fatigued as a collective. Hope you can understand the sentiment. Thank you for your view and comment!
