Do you have a solution for "There are some files or directories left behind from a previous installation. Please remove them and return the installer."?
Hi, you just need to delete the available files (need not be all of them). Please try the below approaches if the issue is not resolved with the approach mentioned in the video. 1. Open Windows Task Manager, go to Services and stop Windows Installer service. Then try installing the JDK. 2. Open Windows Control Panel, and uninstall the existing JDK in case if you already have one. Then, try installing the JDK. Do let me know if you still have issues.

I installed java but I am getting error while checking version in cmd: could not open `C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_291\lib\amd64\jvm.cfg' Can you please help me?
Hi, It looks like the JVM is corrupted. Please try to delete the Java folders from the below locations, and you must be having it in one of these locations, which has created this issue. - C:\Program Files\Oracle - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle - C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Oracle For example, if you have the "Java" folder in the location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle", you need to delete the "Java" folder, which could resolve this issue. NOTE: You can take a backup of the folder that you delete to be on the safer side if you want. Also, make sure you set the Java path variable correctly, and you can take a look at our videos on why to set and how to set a Java path variable on our channel. Please try and let me know.

- C:\Program Files\Oracle
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle

For example, if you have the "Java" folder in the location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle", you need to delete the "Java" folder, which could resolve this issue.
NOTE: You can take a backup of the folder that you delete to be on the safer side if you want.
Also, make sure you set the Java path variable correctly, and you can take a look at our videos on why to set and how to set a Java path variable on our channel.
