You are the best coach clearly lecturing the difference between tango and other swing ballroom dances . Thank you so much.
Very helpful lesson !
Difference between tango and swing dance 💃
You are clearly one of the beat ballroom dancers technique teachers on RUclips.
2:30, Swing dance, use the standing leg to drive to the center balance.
Tango, use the free leg to strike out to the center balance.
The coin exercise is such a great idea. Thank you for the video!
Better with some paper. You can damage the flore with the coin.
I see. Coin or paper. Thanks for the idea.
Finally. Here is the tango walk particularly well demonstrated.
Brilliant. Thank you. So well explained
I like your way of teaching.
Thanks you so much! It's great explanation about the basic step. Please upload the back walk in tango.
Excellent ! Loved your lesson and the fact you had zero musical distraction. Have or could you do a lesson for seniors or ppl with balance issues in regards to tango walking ? Thank you so much, Sir.
Thanks for the Tango Walk Lesson.🤩💕😍❤️💋🌹👌👏💃🏻
❤️ I like the way you teach ❤️❤️
Thank you 😀
Very good ocach i like your lessons
Ура, новый урок! Уже сложившаяся традиция - информация качественная и профессиональная, спасибо большое!!!
Благодарю!
Василий, смотрел с удовольствием!
Excellent breakdown of the parts of movement. Clearly explained Thank you . ❤️ 👍 .😢
Thank you for the good lesson. The question is, when you get out of the promenade position, the count is sqq, but does qq also follow this walk?
This is excellent, thank you. Can you explain the rhythm in Tango please, and the Drop, e.g. counting a1 2 3 4 a 1 2 3 4, and how you move
I have heard many times that in tango, you should lift your feet off the floor when moving them, unlike the swing dances. I see here, that you keep the foot on the floor until you do the flick action and then it only briefly leaves the floor. Is this a new style or variation?
Hello! Thank you for your comment!
It isn’t new style . Basically we don’t have to lift our feet from the floor…
I think it depends on the type of step. In a regular tango walk you should maintain foot pressure with the floor
Bravo, my dear partner! U are the best 💕
Great explanation - Thank you!
Great explanation. Maybe you can do a tutorial on the Closing action in Tango. I always have been taught to take a bit wider step, between the previous figure and the actual closing step. It's as if your left foot (Man) is pretty much accented on the Quick before the Slow of closing. Best to describe it from.a PP, so you can incorporate the flick action as well. Thoughts?
Excellent Vasily, Spaceebo, Jack in Japan
Great video! Videos like this would be even better if you demonstrate what you taught to music.
Thank you so much for the great lecture! Does the principle you described about center balance also apply to backward walk in tango?
Thank you! Yes, the same principles are applied in all the tango movements
@@VasilyKirin Thank you so much! You are such a great teacher!
Best teacher 😍💫💫
💕
Отличная ритмическая интерпретация работы стопы. Респект.
So amazing 🤩🤩🤩
Brilliant! Thanks! :D
Thank you 😀
0:30 Motion before Movement, Weight transfer H-T, or T-H Compression, Lowering(not in Tango), Rotation.
Thank you Vasiliy! 😘
Astrid, thank you! Practice it well 😀🍀
@@VasilyKirin yes we do, hope you come soon!
Great! 👍
That’s what I have been looking for, for long time, should have taught us earlier!
Thank you! Good luck for practicing it)
It's Free !!!!
@@johninvirginia7779 I agree, you can pay a lot of money for a professional to teach you technique, in Australia usually $100 per 45 minutes!
Hi Vasily, thank you for these great videos, they help a lot. My question is with regard to tango walks. I see many "good dancers" lift their feet completely off the ground during tango walks. Is this good technique? I notice you drag your toe forward while keeping the foot at a 45 degree angle. This is how I was taught to do it. Again thank you very much, cheers
Thank you for your comment!
Basically we have to keep our feet on the floor..
To lift one foot from the floor it is not a big mistake, usually it is expression and feelings
I`m sorry, but the dancers who lift their feet in tango are really good dancers!
and you should open the technique book where in black and white you can find the next words: "The feet are slightly lifted and placed on each step, rather than sliding them into position as in the other dances"
@@VasilyKirin Thanks again for the information, cheers Steve
@@audsf2028 Maybe you should be talking to Vasily about this. But as your comment was in the form of a reply to me, thank you. Cheers Steve
Where do you and Ekaterina Prozorova teach? Do you live in Russia? I wish I could find teachers like you, who can explain each movement so clearly, that there is no confusion to what you need to do. Many teachers say what you are not doing, and don't ever explain how to do it correctly. English isn't even your first language, and I you make it as clear as "a bell." Thank you so much.
Thank you for your comment!
We teach in Moscow basically.
And we teach online.

@@VasilyKirin Moscow! Russia is very strong on ballroom dance. You both are good teachers.
Could you please talk about the details of Heel Pull, what is? where, how, when, who(man or lady). please, thank you a lot.
좋은 영상. 잘보고 갑니다 😁😁
after 50 years of dancing, finally, someone who explains it properly
Thank you very much for your comment
Василий, спасибо за Ваши видео уроки!!! Вы планируете разобрать венский вальс? Особенно по действию тела.
Thkq for sharing.
Love it
Tq. U r great.
I've seen the flick demonstrated with empy cigarette package (Karen Hilton) - but the coin demo is great!
Thanks! 😀😀😀 the package is great idea!! I think RUclips would block it, so just the coin))))😂
Great video on Tango Walk. You are an excellent teacher. It would be nice to have a video on backward walk. Maybe your lady partner could do that?
Backwards walk is very easy, but we will do it soon
Looking forward to lady Tango walk. Thanks!
It will be quite similar, but Ekaterina will definitely add some beautiful details, thank you for topic ☺️

Towards September 1918 'dips' and twinkles began to go out
of fashion, and the Foxtrot showed a strong tendency to develop
into a really smooth dance.
With the coming of Jazz music also arrived a new step which
was destined to exercise an enormous influence on the Foxtrot:
it was originally known as the Jazz Roll, and it was, undoubtedly,
the forerunner of the Three-Step.
Vasily :What is a Jazz Roll ?
Классно ...🤔
Очень грамотно все...👍
Благодарю)
Please make more videos! :)
Please explain tango walks going backwards for the lady.
6:00 Flicking the foot with lower leg, under the knee.
Пушечка🔥
讚!
could you please make a video about the bwd movement? I understand that the principle is the same but it would be useful to see the lady's feet position and body placementto the man. thank you .
5:55 Flick in the ankle and the foot only, not the leg.
