I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.

Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

Hi Amy! I swear you find the funniest things. A motion sensor toilet light, really!😂. The metal old fashioned car was given out by a bank in our area in the 1970s for opening up a certificate of deposit. Every little piece of information helps .😊

Amy, I noticed grass and not snow. Was this filmed before the big storm? I have a list of things I hoped you’d pick up: the bowl you didn’t want to ship, the mercury glass piece, the tin that said “London, Paris, New York”. But since you bought so many other great items, I’m happy.
Hi, Denise. That was filmed before the snow. We got about 4” and then another inch last night. I’m hearing we may get more on Friday and Irf says next week (Thursday-Sunday) we’re supposed to see an even bigger storm. I guess we’ll see. So far we’ve been pretty lucky.

I loved that octopus! I didn’t love that it didn’t have its toilet paper holder and that it was from Hobby lobby but it did have cool vibes. 😊🐙

Great thrift day! The bunnies (both the stuffies and the bobbles) should sell very well, Easter is coming! And I have to echo the toilet light - I love mine, no wondering if there’s a snake in the toilet, just enough light at night.

It fits between the seat and the bowl. It is a motion sensor light. Very helpful, doesn't get gross.
