This is just an observation. Why in the captions there are constant references to 'he', I have never heard of a male cat, or any male spieces becoming pregnant. Thank you for rescuing this mother cat and for deligently monitoring her progress to ensure that the right decision was made for her birth process. Thank God the labour was normal and the kittens were healthy. They are also adorable and mummy cat is doing a great job of looking after her beautiful babies. I hate to think of the possible outcome of giving birth on the streets, so once again, THANK YOU.

The vet thinks the obviously pregnant cat is possibly just obese instead, because those two things look totally the same. Unbelievable. The only other thing it could have been is pyometra.
