Were we on the same cruise? We did the French Daze & Ibiza Nights cruise on the Scarlet Lady May 26 - June 2, capping off a month-long European adventure that started in London May 6. As I watched your video I saw several familiar faces among the crew. My girlfriend and I participated in several activities onboard from Pajama Night to Scarlet Night and took in all of the restaurants at least once. The only thing I wish we would have done that we didn't is take advantage of some of the shore excursions as most were sold out by the time we thought about booking them. As a result, we explored the ports of call on our own (which was okay) and basically "chilled" on the beach in Ibiza and Mallorca. All-in-all, we had a great time on the Scarlet Lady and we're already looking forward to our next adventure!
Your recent posts about London and mention on this video has changed my idea about this destination. I may just need to hop on that nonstop from Tampa. Do you think 4-5 days is enough to get a good taste?
Thanks for watching, Nastasha! Nikki Beach was not one of the beach clubs offered by VV when I sailed this itinerary, so I booked it directly with Nikki Beach. Pricing may have changed since last year but for four people, we paid 400 euro for the cabana, of which 300 was in bottle service credit.
Laura, my husband and I are on those cruise in a couple of weeks. We wanted to do a beach club shore thing but it sold out first. Would we be able to schedule one on our own at one of the ports or if you do not get a shore thing for a port you really just need to get off and explore close to the ship?
You can certainly book your own excursion! A couple of things to be aware of: Make sure you schedule your tender in the app if this is for Cannes, be aware of port arrival and departure times and give yourself plenty of buffer so you’re not rushing, and consider transportation to and from the beach club. Enjoy!
It was the last stop on the Flavors of Marseille’s Neighborhoods Shore Thing but honestly, I would not recommend booking that tour. We were unimpressed with the excursion with the exception of the chocolate tasting. I would email the shop (martorana@esperantine.com) or call to see if you can just do the tasting with them directly.

We just missed you! Our sailing was May 12-19. So glad to hear you loved your Voyage! Please keep in mind to help with your next one!

Hey Laura, did you book the Nikki beach through VV or on your own? And how much time did you spend there?

@@CuratedbyLauraPoe How did you get to Nikki Beach, did you take a taxi?
@@nastashamonell533 There's a bus from the ship to the taxi area and then you can easily grab a taxi from there.

Hey Laura
Currently on the same cruise!

I hope you're having the best time!
Very interested in the chocolate tasting at l'Esperantine - was that a Shore Thing through Virgin or did you find/book that separately?
