After growing mine for 5 months, I was close to shaving it down. I bought a heated beard brush out of curiousity, and it really helped to keep me motivated, and keep growing it. Makes it look longer and keep the wild hairs in place Highly recommended getting one when going through the awkward phases
Thank you! I bought the first one that came in a kit. I love it, it felt cheap in my hand but I finally got it perfect. Idk if someone sees me using a cheap straightener as long as it does what I want.
Pady - Congratulations! You have won the straightener! A random number generator picked comment 1! Send me your address and details to andy(@)andrewstapleton.com.au and I'll post it to you!
Ah - My bad! I just resorted the comments in my dashboard - they were sorted as top comments - send me your address to andy@andrewstapleton.com.au and I'll send you one to your address!
You mentioned having some water in your beard while you were straightening. I used to straighten my hair and straightening with water was always a "no-no". You should probably dry your beard completely before straightening to avoid damage
Slow yur comb luv. Especially at the ends. Use a reg comb with the other hand to help tame any wild whiskers. Thanks for the video! Now I’ve got at least one idea to get my boys for Xmas.
Would be good to see a tear down on these 😂. Bet there isn’t much separation between your skin and the ac mains in the cheaper unit. End of the day, they produce heat and brush your beard hair so they definitely did that. Safety wise though….
I would say that the main reason for more expensive one is that its more gentle to your beard hairs and skin, but i can be wrong tho. Anyway, good video as always.
in fairness to the brush - I did push my thumb between the plastic bristles to get to the metal element. The metal elements are taller than in the more expensive brush.
I’m new to the channel and I like your style of content. But I did notice, you may not care, but your name and address is visible in this video. Just thought I’d let you know in the off chance you didn’t know. Thanks for the videos!
I think reason being ,cheap beard straightener mostly have long teeth .Versus that expensive one has short teeth. This day and age everyone wants to grow a beard so they will definitely pay that price for the beard journey .lol
Personally I think the cheaper one looks like it did better
it did indeed
Yeah definitely although I don't about your beard but mine is definitely a little wilder on one side than the other

I thinknthis is the comment I need right now. Grown mine out and I'm close to shaving it off
This is such an underrated beard channel.

I have that same model for the cheap one. No real complaints about it.
Do you not need a heat treatment spray to protect the beard from damage
Thanks Andy.. another great video, stay bearded brother!
Never considered straightening my beard, but now I'm intrigued. 😄

Hahaha! I never knew/thought about it either…and now I, too, am intrigued and strongly considering the investment in this type of product! 🤣

I use a $15 vikicon. No complaints.
Great informative video, will this work on someone who has a naturally curly hair texture?
Hello. It's my beard hair that's thick and doesn't grow fast. Does anyone have a type of oil that makes the beard grow fast? Thank you, gentlemen
Tried a beard straightener, but my beard isn't following the instructions. Still all over the place! Maybe I need to grow longer.
What I wanna know is how long does the look last
Try the Aberlite pro, it doesn’t get any better!

Did he ever state the manufacturer of the cheap one?
I'm a little late to the party. I just found a Kuschelbar new in the box for $12 us. I figured I would try it for $12.
I like the cheap one better. I have used it. I never had $63 to spend on beard straightener
mine cost 130$ and its insanely good!
I payed almost $140 on mine, more you pay. Better you feel , meaning it's much better 😂
Not sure, but I think so 😃
@@rygaros6669 What brand is it?
Good review. If the straightener burns your thumb, I’m concerned about running it through my beard.

Thanks for the info!
You need to use it on a dry beard with beard oil in your beard not water
Nice review, I ordered a cheapie to use and leave at work. 😁

It’s all about personal feel I guess
The cheaper one actuality did a better job if not the same
U shudve tried putting beard oil 5 minutes before u used a hot brush.
That's what I thought. People always say to use beard oil before using heat brush or blow dryer, to protect the hair...
Absolutely - normally I apply beard oil before blow drying but I wanted to minimize the variables. I'll try it out with oil next.

I need a longer beard.
Like bin laden?
@@MisterSolitude Nah like ZZ Top
Your left side (the cheapest) is better, more straight...
Oh really …
Why is a Brit giving prices in dollars??? Bit useless for fellow Brits fella.
