I even checked the lobby for names I knew... He didnt even change the binds... hence not realizing that Lucio was on Hold, not toggle.

dude in high gold (2400-2450) our rein defend the wall, i am not surprised, wtf
When I started climbing on my Support I was 2500. I Moira grasped a Reaper to death from point blank range solo... no orb... no chip damage and he never once shot at me. Just spun around trying to figure out what was happening. Never seen anything like that before and that includes the 1k bronze games my son plays in.
Our McCree got rolled by baby dva…while being healed by mercy and having stun ready

As someone who doesn't play comp at all and just plays qp with friends, I'm surprised that this *MASTERS* player decided to leave spawn on heals. It's like the first thing you learn as Lucio: leave spawn with speed.

Lucio - leave spawn on heals, stands in front of tanks, little advanced movement.
Mercy - no situational awareness, positions on front line, pointless battle mercy, no advanced movement.
Ana - overheals TOO hard, bad nade/dart discipline, poor target acquisition, stands *inside* team.
Bap - no jump discipline, poor target acquisition, poor positional awareness.

Just looking at that Lucio, I’d put him 1300. Maximum.
Nonsensical rollout, not a single decent wall-ride, hitscan aim on projectile hero, no cooldown management on LUCIO who has 1 real cooldown. No idea how to position or even harass correctly.

Man, I'm glad your Moira was healing, because your Hog was left half health or critical so often by this Lucio/Bap/Ana/Mercy it's not funny... Granted Hog can self heal, but the Bronze player was going for kills and damage when they had critical allies right in front of them.
Hog being up in attacker spawn critical sounds like much more of a Hog problem than a support problem at that point if I’m gonna be honest.

I've been playing Overwatch for years, and as a Lucio main that is grandmasters, I can confidently say that Lucio is not confused. The speed is to speed up the heals, Flats. Everyone knows that. Maybe you should stick to being main tank. (obvious sarcasm)

Seems like he found his niche at the end as Ana, was actually contributing to the team in a not-terrible fashion. I'm betting he enjoyed the match at the end, relieved to find a role in which he could help. But yeah, boosted/bought account, cycling through roles till he found a good one for himself as a not horrible support.

His aim is actually not that bad, just terrible game sense. I think if he can get his game sense right, he can play at diamond with this aim.

Watching this Lucio, I am somewhat persuaded that they mix heal and speed because not only they exit spawn on heal but they also boost speed when teammates are low

@@PurpleMoon799 Amped up heal does make a difference but in an intense fight I agree the normal passive heal doesn't compensate the eventual damages.
However, you can see at 3:00 that the Lucio switch to speed then amp when the Sigma is critical. At 2:42 they amp speed after getting damaged which seems a bit like a non sens to me.
This, as well as when they came back from spawn with heal active as the Cass respawned then switched to speed + amp at the point, is why I supposed they were mixing their abilities
On behalf of all low silver/ bronze supports we cannot accept him he maybe better off in the quick play group

Yep, silver/bronze support ana/bap and I can confirm, we do not accept this person as one of our own. There are some reallllly bad players in our level, but even I was crying at this.

@@ibraxiv-_-6653 i can agree to this. I got attacked by the enemy mercy after i diffed her twice, one where i clapped her in 1v1 in my backline, and one where i won against her in Valk 1v1 by my aim was just better.
She wom the game, because our tank left and no one joined back fast enough plus she was probably with two other players in that game. Three people messaged me on playstation then, all saying 'ez, you suck.'
To this day i do not understand the stupidity of these people. How do you not feel emberassed when you tell someone they suck when they clearly diffed you?
I hate quickplay sweats as much as i hate toxic ranked players. They're at the same level of 'dumb'
with 70+ hours on mercy i feel physical and mental pain watching them play. so many things they did horribly it's insane.

It was all pretty bad, but the Mercy positioning was giving me anxiety. It’s like they were intentionally *trying* to be visible to all 6 enemies all the time.

In a high diamond game one time I got a high diamond DPS who had peaked GM at one time... like 4050. He was so bad that our team was joking that his 5 year old must of gotten on his account. Mid way through he match I started digging in his profile and found the issue. About a year before that he had been silver and was always silver and then suddenly jumped to GM. Then every season after that he would do placements only, drop some SR and then wait for the next season.
So not only was he boosted just enough to protect his SR as much as he could... also super toxic calling our entire team trash. Meanwhile he is respawning on cooldown.

I remember when I first started playing, i only played quickplay for about 50 levels, then i queued for comp and got put in a GM game. Needless to say i lost that game.
Yeah I'm a year late but the biggest callsign of a support player not being this high ranked is them playing on the cart with a full team while the other team recontests. I remember hearing this advice from ML7 back in like 2018, "Make them pick between going after you and contesting the objective." Nothing triggers me more than seeing low ranked supports (especially Ana players) that just gravitate towards the cart during last fight with a full team like you're inviting the other team back into the game when you do that

Even though being closer to a target means they're a bigger target, it also means that any rotational movement around you is greater the closer they are. Two steps to the left when they're tickling your balls is enough to put most characters halfway off your screen, so it's not that wild to miss a sleep up close.

I mean it does have very obvious symbols denoting what each mode is. Having had my fun with Lucio, there is a noticeable shift when you use speed and use heals. This guys clearly wasn't seeing any of it.

the way the lucio had his heals and speed the wrong way round at the start was incredible, my man would use heals to get to the point and switch to speed once he’s caught up to all his teammates that need heals😭

I mean, his/her ana was good and doing something (especially at the end), but when he played the lucio, bap and mercy it was like your team was playing a 6v5 tbh
His ana wasn't good dude, he wasted so many cds on people's bodies just cause his reaction time was nonexistant >he saw tracer, he think i need to sleep, he uses sleep and its already 3-4 seconds past on, missed easy nades, pushed on people that could kill her and they did kill her. This was pacifist ana that didn't know what was going on, on mercy pops valk sees soldier left side of her screen, hears visor popping up and flying upwards, my guess is either thats a goldfish brain or this player just clicks buttons without thinking. I have wrote 3 lines of stuff and im still not finished since i just remembered how many times this player decided to battle mercy from 100 meters away while teamates dying right in front of her, this player certainly didn't play as a healer or you can say he didn't play the game at all with how many times he just fed, you can probably call him a walking seppuku bomb, good thing that the rest of the team stabilized and carried with solo moira heals and sustain with hog sigma.

I feel this on a personal level. I'm hardstuck under 1100 on my main. And plat on my alt. Same me. Same characters. Just got into bronze before I improved and can't pull myself out.
Yet another reason why every season, or maybe every other, there is an SR reset for those of us under 2500 or so. Silver stuck on DPS for over a year, got an alt and am a high-Plat Hanzo there. Same gameplay, same good games and bad games, vastly different teammate quality.

I feel bad for that Moira cause I've been in that boat too many times, where the other healer is so trash you feel like you're having to hard carry too much. I can also say from experience, when you play against Smurfs at least 2 ranks above you, you notice how hard they abuse the fact they're higher and punish you for those mistakes you get away with normally on your rank XD, cause Golds and Plats get away with so much stupid crap that a Masters and GM would punish them for all day long. Btw I'm not saying that this guy was anywhere near Gold, although if he was gold I wouldn't be surprised. Most golds I've played with felt hard boosted too it from around 1k SR because they didn't know their role.
Also as an Ana main I think I have a headache just from how bad they are, cause I'm getting a head ache watching this.

For a 5 year old game Overwatch still has a strong player base. You can't say the same about most Multiplayer games that came out the same year.

For the lucio swapping to healing, he probably has the 'hold' option for crossfade on where you need to hold thr button for speedboost

was speccing a gold scrim and the team was on lijiang night market and they were gonna do the speed out of spawn and tp to window but the lucio amped heals instead so they got to point later than the enemy and proceeded to get rolled

Another option could be there were a moria one trick, the 2nd support locked that all match that I saw. Or perhaps they could of also rose in ranks riding a broken meta/hero and just haven't fallen yet.
