It's been 8 weeks since my mastectomy and opposite side uplift. Got an implant in and it's terrible with breast swollen and the uplift side I had cords down to my stomach and still very sore near my ribs by the side of my breast. I never had lymph nodes taken or chose chemo or radiotherapy.
How privileged we are to have an excellent resource like this. It taught me so much and will help me tremendously in supporting my wife as we go through our new journey. Thank you so much you have taught me so much even though I am very comfortable with an evidence based approach. Rick
I developed a horrible rash 8 week post op simple mastectomy. My dermatologist said it’s lymphodemia . A steroid cream was prescribed and lymphatic massage was recommended 2x per week. Your thoughts?
Hi Dr this was interesting for me I'm facing a clearance and implant and radiotherapy in the next month, but I would really be untested to hear your take on the compelling evidence in my opinion, for the metabolic theory of cancer. F for me I have always had a deep aversion to chemo which just kills your immune system, the one you really need! So since diagnosis I have been following a ketogenic diet, and will do fasting for two days before surgery to boost my immunity. My dilemma is, am I brave enough to rely on this to avoid chemo.... What are your thoughts? Thank you for your insider thoughts as a fellow cancer survivor!
Great interview! I follow both of you and the information shared along with the explanations are invaluable. I had stage 3 ILC grade 1, neoadjuvant chemo destroyed the multifocal tumors after 4x AC and 12x paclitaxel infusions. Because I am at high risk for recurrence I’ll have a SMX followed by 30 sessions of radiation. I worry about how the reconstructed breast will end looking as well as how to look for recurrence signs after the reconstruction. Thank you!!
I am 72 n had a lumpectomy last May 23. I have a small lump on my other breast verified by two Dr. n had a mammogram that was negative. I have pain at times n my lymph nodes swell. What should I do.
Thank you so much for this interview. I am a breast cancer patient, completed mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy 3 weeks ago. I have one question, Dr Tasha said that the benefit of having chemo before surgery is you will know if the drug given is effective. If so why is it not a standard practice?
Which biopsy is bettet for BARAD 3 in ultrasound report mam. Surgery or needle biopsy(FNAC) which is better mam. 4 lumps in left breast and largest lump is 25*11 mm 3 o clock possition

Please have Dr. Tasha on again and again. Learned so much from her insight.
I will ask her now!

Is headaches a side effect of chemotherapy
What does invasive carcinoma with features of mucinous carcinoma mean?
Thank you so much for this interview. I am a breast cancer patient, completed mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy 3 weeks ago. I have one question, Dr Tasha said that the benefit of having chemo before surgery is you will know if the drug given is effective. If so why is it not a standard practice?
Because not everyone needs chemo

In the UK we rarely do FNAC and do an ultrasounds guided core biopsy
Ok mam thank you
Mam in my ultrasound report it is showing as BARAD III. Shall i go for any further tests like FNAC. My age is 40 years
It depends on what your local team do. We would biopsy anything that was 3,4,5
Thank you for your reply mam. Shall I go for surgery or needle test mam for biopsy
Madam, what we can do to reduce the scar tissue after modified radical mastectomy
Expecting your valuable advice
