it's depressing because unfortunately they don't actually have a real life romance like it appears on the show. They do have a great chemistry together and it makes me disappointed that they just can't see it the way fans do. However, they both owe us nothing but an excellent onscreen performance and I will have to try to except that. It's just a shame that they are unconscious to the fact that it's like they were made for each other. I almost don't want to begin season two because I know that they're onscreen relationship is only a fiction. But who am I to tamper with their friendship?

I was all behind Betty being finally a properly written character who has car based skills/was somewhat into them. All till they literally dropped the ball by making her speak about an auto car having a manual transmission. Ye no. Showing it was just to push a flimsy agenda than to actually add some depth. Pissed me off. I'm all for males or females working on cars and characters portrayed doing so. But can they start getting someone who works on them to fucking help so Betty doesn't go from looking like she knew what she was doing to hurrrrderrrrp in the race scene. It was the same with transformers and many more. I think the only half decent female character in a mainstream modern movie or show portrayed as knowing her way around cars and not saying some dumb shit to contradict it was Imogen Poots as Julia Maddon. In the Need For Speed movie. THAT is how you do it. You don't half-ass it. Because then you just do a disservice to your character/s. And yourself.
