If there is any singer in Telugu cini field who is not properly honoured it is none other than mana Suseelamma. Such a highly talented with a divinely gifted voice, she was nominated for Padma Award by Tamil Nadu government and not by Telugus.
Worse than this, post 80’s our singers started comparative analysis of Suseelamma with other contemporary singers.
She is even superior in some aspects even to another legendary singer Lataji.
Telugu cinema music is a big zero without the contribution of Ghantasala and Suseelamma right from early 50’s and 60’s. May God give her a happy and healthy life.
