Hints: Marc spent 4 weeks recording at Abbey Road Studios London working on a "secret project." Movie director, Brian Singer, was photographed coming out of Abbey Road Studios, the same time Marc Martel was there. Finally, some leaked video of the filming of the Queen Live Aid concert had the actors pantomiming to what sounds a LOT like a Marc Martel cover of the concert. I'm willing to say YES, they used Martel for the vocals in the movie, BUT they are going to say it is Freddie or Rami doing most of the vocals. If Martel is even credited on the movie soundtrack I will be surprised.
Actually its both Freddies and Marcs vocals. All they are doing is layering Marcs vocals under Freddies Live Aid soundcheck audio recordings. Since Freddie isnt here to do a voice over to blend or fix any mic sound issues with the modern day audio tech they use for movie making. So instead of using computers or other tricks, they are just gonna use Marcs voice, which really is damn close to Freddies. So It will still be Freddies vocals front and center, Marcs vocals will just enhance it for the movies soundtrack. Great idea on Queens part.

They fear nothing. They have respect for their friend by not using an imitator in his place. Using an imitator would seem like they are trying to replace Freddie and that's impossible. So, they chose Paul Rodgers and now Adam, two original voices to bring their music to new generations.
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If they feared anything about Marc, they would never have given him the opportunities they have. He would not have the notoriety he now has without them. They gave his career a huge boost by putting him in their tribute band. I'm guessing M3 is one of those people whose glass is always half empty. Poor dear.
He was in a Christian rock band for 13 years and basically only known to that community. He then put out a solo rock album that really went no where. His tour for that album was a handful of local joints. So yes, the fact that he was picked to be a part of the official Queen tribute band and tour the world is what put him on the map.
