be sure to book in advance. i have a hunch they are quite busy most days
They don't take reservations. You have to arrive 30 minutes before they open or wait 2 hours at dinner time. So worth it though
Sounds like the cornish restaraunt around my way. If you want to eat there for lunch you'd better get there at like 11am to be able to eat by half 1. Food is so worth it though.

I love seeing how Rhod's eyes light up when they're eating. There's such a genuine joyful bewilderment and wonder the moment evokes.

I've never seen Richard actually finish a meal on this series. Amazing crab to win over the man who hates to be touched.
I don't think the enjoyment of a meal relates at all to hatred of being touched by another person.

"I'm very happy.... and I can barely even make it through life". I might have to say that next time I'm on a dinner date.
Not to be an excessive animal rights activist, but the crab's ability to regrow it's claws is overstated. First, it's got to "let go" of the claw of it's own accord, so the wound is clean (it's got it's own mechanism to do so properly). What often happens, at least with the crabs here in Norway, is that they bleed out, when people break of the claws and throw them back in the ocean. Second, the new claw isnæt going to be as big/strong as the old one, which is OK if it's young, but then it wouldn't be big enough to eat. You also find that the crabs without claws have less meat it the main body, which is a sign that they are malnouriched.
I'm not against fishing and hunting and all that, but just breaking of the part of the animal you want and throwing it back, would be enough of a reason for me to leave the restaurant. If you don't agree, that's fine, I'm not going to tell people what they shall and shan't do, but I fealt the information from the waiter in the video couldn't go unchallenged.

You could just eat the whole crab, while sitting on a pile of dead puppies.
The fishermen only remove one claw. Since most live for many iterations of being caught and pruned, it must have all the defenses it needs.
There's a dozen places in South Florida where you can get food just as good as Joe's Stone Crab for a third the price
