    बैटरी के मुकाबले हाइड्रोजन एक अच्छा विकल्प हो सकता है लेकिन मेरा analysis है ये भी भविष्य में महंगा हो सकता है। अब यदि अभी से हम atomic theory के fusion य fission आदि पर काम करे तो कम मात्रा में किसी रेडियोएक्टिव element से काफी energy प्राप्त कर सकते है बस ज़रूरत है उसे control और स्टोर करने की।

    Hydrogen solar looks better for high performance and more output at cheaper cost. I think that we should work to make it safer to avoid any dangerous incident.

      Efficiency: Modern electrolysis systems are around 60-80% efficient, meaning that 60-80% of the electrical energy used is converted into chemical energy in the form of hydrogen. However, this still leaves a significant energy loss.
      Compression and Storage:
      Compression: Hydrogen must be compressed or liquefied for storage and transport, which requires additional energy. Compressing hydrogen to high pressures (e.g., 700 bar) or cooling it to cryogenic temperatures for liquefaction consumes more energy, reducing overall efficiency.
      Storage: Hydrogen storage technologies, whether through compression, liquefaction, or chemical storage, also have their own energy costs and potential losses.
      Fuel Cell Conversion:
      Fuel Cells: When hydrogen is used in fuel cells to produce electricity, the efficiency is typically around 40-60%. This means that some energy is lost in the conversion process, further reducing the net energy gain.
      Energy Balance Considerations
      Input vs. Output: The total energy input required to produce, store, and use hydrogen is often greater than the energy output. This is a common criticism of hydrogen as a fuel, especially if the electricity used for electrolysis comes from non-renewable sources.
      Renewable Energy Sources: The situation improves significantly if the electricity used for electrolysis comes from renewable sources like solar, wind, or hydropower. In this case, the environmental benefits of hydrogen production can outweigh the energy losses, as it allows for the storage of excess renewable energy and its use in applications where direct electrification is difficult.
      Use Cases: Hydrogen is seen as more practical in sectors where electrification is challenging, such as heavy industry, aviation, or long-haul transport, rather than in applications where direct use of electricity is feasible.
      Research and Development
      Advancements: Research is ongoing to improve the efficiency of electrolysis, hydrogen storage, and fuel cells. Innovations in catalysts, materials science, and renewable energy integration are key areas of focus.
      Energy Economics: The overall economics of hydrogen depend not just on energy efficiency but also on factors like the availability of renewable energy, the cost of electricity, and advances in hydrogen technology.
      Conclusion
      While hydrogen production through electrolysis is currently energy-intensive and can consume more power than it produces when considering the entire energy cycle, it holds potential in specific scenarios where renewable energy is abundant or where other forms of energy storage and use are less viable. The future of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier will depend on continued research and technological advancements that improve its efficiency and economic viability.

    It's a noble concept but the technology needs to be refined for commercial exploitation. There are many glitches as to the capital cost & output. It will become a reality in the future but for now research & development process will take time but once things are in place it will dictate the energy sector.

    Very good information. Many Many thanks. According to the law of conservation of energy, energy from hydrogen will be equal to the electrical energy produced by the solar cells. Either you charge the batteries or produce hydrogen. All these things are extremely dangerous. Hydrogen and air mixture explodes instantly. Batteries also catch fire.Gone are the good old days of safe diesel and petrol engines.

      Haha, yeh baat toh kaafi interesting hai! Hydrogen solar panels abhi tak itne efficient nahi hue hain ki wo directly hydrogen gas bana kar ek ande ko boil kar sakein. Hydrogen gas ka production solar energy se theoretically mumkin hai, lekin abhi tak is process ko large-scale pe karne ke liye kaafi challenges hain.
      Hydrogen ko solar panels se generate karne ke liye pehle solar energy ko electricity mein convert karna padta hai, fir electrolysis process ke zariye water ko hydrogen aur oxygen mein breakdown kiya jata hai. Ye process kaafi energy-consuming hoti hai, aur jo hydrogen banta hai, wo enough nahi hota ke us se ek anda boil kiya ja sake-kam se kam aaj ke din tak.
      Shayad future mein technologies itni efficient ho jayein ke hum solar-powered hydrogen se apne breakfast bhi bana sakein!
