- Not to be confused with the wonderful Dirk Powell compositon... here's the Waterbound that I learned years ago from an Art Rosenbaum banjo recording. The tuning is GDBD.

One of my favorite banjo tunes.
This is great, I love the way your left hand seems to flow slowly, yet smartly, around the neck.
Outstanding tone and fluidity - love it!❤️🙏✌️👍
Wow, this has gone for a year without a comment, I wonder where all the people who love clawhammer style have gone?
I was between rocks and shoals in choosing a Tenor or a Baritone Ukulele because of the lack of the high G string. At 73 my fingers need a bit more room and a narrow neck. Your excellent picking has swayed me back to Baritone.
Thank you for this great video.
Have a sunny Texas day

I am the same way and looking into picking up the baritone. Have played on a classic and tenor but really like the feel of the baritone. If the tone is too low I may have to change strings and tune up to the standard ukulele tuning but that is no problem. I think there are more options and a little more volume from the baritone.
Sounds great and a great job as well!!
btw.. I had to add a space before .com in the link so RUclips would allow the post. Cheers
Thanks for the comment... strings 1 & 2 are unwound nylon, 3 & 4 wound nylon. I'm contemplating putting a set of GHS on though. They have bronze wound 3rd & 4th... I expect they would add more punch.
I love this!
Yes it is.
Hi again Scott, I've been checking out all your vids and I must say, your playing is very inspirational. It's making me want a Baritone Uke all the more :O) Says he with over 25 guitars, 30+ Didges and numerous other instruments.. My wife will kill me if I walk in with another one !! but hey... you only live once.
Thanks again Songsticks! Check this out... ruclips.net/video/QKbPHr0rGao/видео.html
Hi Jeff... here's a link bluesageband. com/Tabs.html This is a site with lots of tabs in several tunings. They're written for banjo but baritone players can just ignore the fifth string notations. Some tunes use the fifth string as part of the melody but with a bit of lateral thinking one can find a work around.
I love the sound. Did you use wound nylon strings, or steel strings?
Hello SR, Jeff from Humble Baritonics here. I have not found sites to link for DGBD tuning. You may make your own compositions but if you have any links to DGBD tablature I would be glad to show them on the blog.
Great! Is this DGBD tuning?
Is it possible to obtain the tabs for this tune for the Baritone Ukulele? Please respond. It is a wondrous tune and you do
is superbly. Thank you for all of your videos.
I don't have tabs... sorry. This is a good source. bluesageband.com/Tabs.html

So what tuning are you using?
Lawrence Rosenberg It's DGBD.
Scott Rogers I thought so. Thanks!
Cordoba Baritone uke?
Jeff Collins It is. I've modified it a bit though... mangled the peghead, changed the tuning pegs and added a Mi-Si pickup.
Very nice tone. Great playing too!
Thanks Jeff!
