Thank you for the review. Ive been looking into these desktop thermal imagers. I think it's a good idea. It looks like its using MSX technology and a decent field of view but this one doesn't have the sensitivity I need and should have more software functionality similar as what come standard with Flir products for the price. It should also be able to target the min/max temp spots automatically. And I doubt it come with adjustable focus which could boost its value significantly very easily. So for now, I'll pass until someone comes up with a better optimized solution for the market. Thanks
$300 sounds reasonable, the price is too high. One way this product can be $900 worth is if #1 the interactive software was better and #2 if the camera was high definition.

I am tempted by FLIR due to the same reasons, but think I need to buy the E8 onwards to go beyond what this does. Of course the E8 is 3x the price, but is better and will likely outlast this. The head on this does detach by the way but I think to operate needs an ethernet cable (!) attached to a computer lol hmmmm... Decisions...
Leakage capacitor temperature is 32.7 degree centigrade and CPU temperature is is about 50 degree centigrade after power on while CPU is ok i don't understand
It can only help to troubleshoot in current leakage or short to ground case so 900dollar is too costly even it will take too much time to earn 900 dollars to earn by this machine
