They are TOP Medias newest boy group, the company that brough us teen top, 100% and UP10TION! And their choreographer, is just for any other top media idol, Choi Yung Jun! And they recently released a new single called spring! (that means please react to it too as its really different)

Not bashing or compare, but some groups who make dance with some western influenced dance steps are quite popular like moonwalk, nae nae, dabbing, etc. As you can see 3 mvs from mcnd, those are some dance steps you can see at the western that rarely used in other countries or kpop group. My opinion but seems to make sense. Having rich-cultural experiences would be high advantages for them.

Minjae always seemed like he had so much fun dancing and singing on stage so I feel like he really does feel happy to be there. You should check out their handclap performance in your spare time, it is my favourite of theirs and really shows their talents well.

I also agree with what you said about them being a performance focused/driven group, I've also noticed that watching all 3 M/Vs, around 75% of the video are dance shots, focusing on the point dances.

Also, thanks for putting words to my thoughts, I knew they had a different vibe to their title tracks/singles compared to the other rookie boy groups but I couldn't quite figure out what it was until you said it's more of a girl group type of song, specifically the shout/sing type of chorus. I also agree with what you said about them being a performance focused/driven group, I've also noticed that watching all 3 M/Vs, around 75% of the video are dance shots, focusing on the point dances.

i didn't think much abt "why the gas station" when i first saw the mv, but now that i think about it, maybe the sight of abandoned snowed in gas station is asocciated with some kind of apocalyptic scenario and "ice age" is kind of an apocalypse too? does it make any sense? no? ok...

I'm super happy you reacted to this! For a rookoe group that is from a lable that isn't really well known they had an amazing debut! The MV was Beaitiful, the song was super cathcy and diffrent, the coreohraphy was so energétic and the stage presence of the member was great. ESPECIALLY Minjae's!

“This seems like a group driven by performance and dance” a lot of the members (I think all of them?) have been to a dance academy and even competed in word of dance (excluding Junhyuk) so they’ve practice ALOT with dancing! Junhyuk (blue haired rapper with deep voice) participated in a show called under19 and minjae and huijun (vocal line) participated on a show called the fan so they practiced a lot to prepare for debut! Fans are thankful you like the song, and we’re hoping you can react to their comeback single called Spring. It’s a COMPLETELY different vibe and concept! Thank you for the reaction 💗

- fun fact the guy with the blue hair n the rlly deep voice is win (bang junhyuk) n hes an 04 liner aka 15 yrs old😭😭 he was on the survival show under nineteen during predebut but left the show early for health reasons
- the two vocalists who sing the prechorus r minjae (red/pink hair) n huijun (brown hair) n theyre both 03 liners; they competed as a duo on the show the fan during predebut (itzy's yeji was also on the fan during her predebut) n the two of them r amazing vocalists n have pretty unique voices although their title tracks dont showcase them as much (u should watch their cover of park won's stranger from the mr sunshine ost to hear more of their vocals)
- the rapper who starts the song is castle j (son seongjun) n hes the groups oldest (99 liner) and their leader; he participated in writing lyrics for ice age and mcnd's predebut song top gang (u should check it out bc theres an mv for it!) he also helped remix a lot of the groups dance cover songs
- n the last member to introduce is bic (nam seungmin, born in 2001) hes the guy in the white headband n with that hairstyle💀 but hes the main dancer n a rlly good one at that
n like u mentioned this group is more focused on performance/dance they released tons of dance covers and they even performed at world of dance in las vegas in 2017 with other top media trainees (except for win bc i think he wasnt in the company/hadnt trained enough at the time)
