    'Upped your game' is used in the USA and Canada as well, not just in the UK

    Some British words are of course also often or sometimes used in Canadian English.
    Especially those of us who watch British shows which have always been imported by the CBC. I grew up watching the Goodies and Coronation Street! And I’m a raging AbFab and Red Dwarf fan.
    But these vids are quite necessary for people in the US who aren’t exposed to them... unless they watch PBS! ⭐️❤️🇨🇦

    Haha throwing a wobbly sounds so weird yet cute! "Wobbly" makes me think of "wobbly legs" or something 😊

    George Harrison in Hard Days' Night: "I wouldn't be caught dead wearin' a shirt like that. It's dead grotty!" After that, everything nasty was "grotty" here in the US.

    Grotty is Groty or Grody (grow-tee or grow-dee) is what we say in America
