- This Week I'm checking out 50 random thrift stores in my area, and I'm bringing you along with me! Hopefully we can find some great stuff to resell for a profit. But to be honest, I have no idea what to expect, it could be amazing or a total disaster. Oh well, there is only one way to find out...let's go!

Your so right about books it's something I've never thought to resell and walk right past them. I guess I need to build up some knowledge in that area. Great video always watching
FYI, those lego baseplates that were in that lego bundle can be worth MASSIVE money!
oh man i wonder what was in that moma design store box at 914. killer designer stuff
That N64 Game case is AWESOME!! I'm a gamer and a thrifter/collector/reseller. I believe I'd be keeping that one. So clean.
I see the NES version a lot, but that one I didn't know existed!
@@FlippityFlip Same here. First time seeing one!
I’d kill to have anything like McKays I’m New Jersey. I find so many media items that are borderline worth listing on eBay; it would be so much more worth it to take them somewhere and get trade credit.
i just got a CD copy of Minutemen’s “Double Nickels on the Dime” still sealed from local Goodwill. A friend tipped me off it’s out of print and going for $50+ on eBay. I paid 99¢.
These video are sick man keep it up 💪🏽
Thank you!!!! Trying to make them better and better, but always at the mercy of what I can actually find haha
Some really nice finds!
At 6:17 there's a great find that you didn't even notice, a real diamond
Hahaha - that’s me sitting in the grey SUV at McKay’s! Love your channel and hope to cross paths (again) soon!
Whatttt!!! no way hahaha
Shuuuuush. They’ll know if you blab it. Be cool man you’re blowing my cover.
Where is a good place to trade movies and games ( you always mention doing that) thank you.
Best store I know of is Mckays if you live in NC or TN. But I'm sure if you look around your area for collectibles/media stores that sell preowned stuff then they will make an offer for them
Thank you! I enjoy the shows and the education when you speak to what to look for and what sells!
books can be excellent finds and always skipped by most people. I once was hunting through books at a thrift and opened one up and a $20 bill fell out. Some people use some strange bookmarks!
Did you pay for the $20 though? haha
@@FlippityFlip i paid $1 for the book and went along with my day lol
Hey man. Love the videos. I was wondering. When you or just in general people sell on eBay. Is it not worth it to promote things ? To pay the price. Or is it
I haven't done it in years, but I've been reading lately on reddit that sellers have been reporting very good results with promotions. If it's a high-end item it is probably worth it, but I'm not really sure just yet.
Ok thank you man. Thank you for answering to :).
Looks like you passed by a Skyrim hardcover guide at McKays
I didn't even look at it, so not sure what the price was!
@@FlippityFlip yeah, may have been marked up, but that one has decent value at the right price
How well does McKay pay for books? I have a bunch of rock and roll (mostly Beatles and Stones) almost all unread. Just weighting my options. Thx
I would look them up on eBay and if they are selling for $15 or more I'd sell them on eBay, but if not then take them to McKays and you can expect good trade credit. They also do straight up cash trades but it will be about 50% of what they offer in credit.
@@FlippityFlip thanks
How much did they want for the bag of legos with no mini figs in it? It had the moon baseplate which can sell for between $10 to $20 by itself
The plate was definitely the best thing in there, I didn't know it was worth that much! I think the price was $15
Value Village here in WESTERN CANADA has the odd good finds , most of the time price's are stupid high ... plus old farts open 2.99 toy bags to grab a figure .. ugh
Just out of interest: are you really unable to sell the cheaper stuff on ebay, or is it just not worth it to list/ won't sell?
You can sell it easily, but if the price is below $15 then it isn't worth it because shipping will be $4.50ish for the lightweight stuff and the bubble mailer/box can be a dollar, not to mention ebay fees on top of all that and you aren't making much of anything in the end. I sell things that can be shipped media mail that are valued $11 or higher, everything else my cut-off point is $15. Unless it's heavy, then I usually just trade it or sell locally.
