I'm physically disabled and get treated like this sometimes. It doesn't happen often but when it does, it's so disheartening. People don't realize how their words hurt people. We just want to be treated like everyone else and live our lives the same way.
"Everyone has different characteristics. It's like the bricks, those put on the ground are for walking. Those for the buildings are up there." I LOVE that 🥰
The fact that that man didn’t even know a thing about him but took the time to walk him over and clean the seat for him because he might have been tired…is what we need more of EVERYWHERE❤️
I’m always stunned how Chinese people have wise words to give, to the “mean” one and the one who needs help. It always strike on the right spot. Incredible people ❤️
There are more than 30000 idioms in China, countless other colloquial expressions and fables. Generally, idioms contain four Chinese characters, and these idioms usually have a story. In this way, we record what people have experienced before and educate future generations about how to do and say similar things.
I'm always stunned how Chinese people refuse to showcase people with visible disabilities. They would instead hire actors to ACT visibly disabled. The premise is we know they exist and we want to promote inclusion BUT without actually including them because we don't actually want to associate with them.
