I'm physically disabled and get treated like this sometimes. It doesn't happen often but when it does, it's so disheartening. People don't realize how their words hurt people. We just want to be treated like everyone else and live our lives the same way.

The premise is we know they exist and we want to promote inclusion BUT without actually including them because we don't actually want to associate with them.

I'm a person with disabilities and often feel like I'm a burden on society, as well as to my friends and family. It's such a beautiful relief to hear people disagree with that feeling.

This really warms my heart. My younger brother is mentally disabled and he got scolded by these kinds of people twice. They even had the audacity to ask what is special needs. Luckily my mother stood up for him. Despite the scoldings, my brother apologized to them even tho he didn't do anything wrong 😭😭😭

If I ever see someone being disrespectful to a differently able person, I'll be just like these people. It is not acceptable. Same goes when people pick on the elderly. We must protect those most vulnerable. People are so cruel, until something happens to them or someone they love.
This video made me cry. Of course, I don't have a disability, but I also have a certain peculiarity, if I may say so. I stutter, and it has annoyed me all my life. It's okay, I've got stutter too when I was younger, being mocked and laughed at a lot, but it's much better now, rarely stutter anymore except when in a nervous situation
