It's a cool piece of kit! I wouldn't pay that much money for it personally, but it is cool! It's not mass market being produced with the same volume as say the Hydrasynth which is undeniably better bang for the buck, but I suspect the people willing to buy this are doing so because they find the aesthetic and interface inspiring. I didn't need to buy a Juno-X when I have a Hydra, but I find that interface REMARKABLY inspiring to play so for me it's worth the premium price.
Great demo as ever from Jack , nearly a thousand pounds for this ? so much more out there from Novation , Hydrasynth , new Micro Korg on way , this looks like a cheap toy , £200 and maybe its worth a punt for the arpeggio , but someone somewhere is having laugh
Lol je mets pas un seul de mes francs dans une boîte avec un clavier pareil. Je préfère pas de clavier du tout. Et les constructeurs nous affligent toujours avec ça. C'est quand même incroyable !
I just don't understand how people can take a mono channel synth with a passive aggressive-to-hostile UX that costs 50% more than a MiniFreak as anything other than trolling. I love Vongon's pedals, but this thing is why folks say snarky things about Gear RUclips.
Is that thing available in different color schemes other than white on whi... err... ivory? I'm an old dude and while I have the money to afford toys like that and I love what Vongon does - like the Polyphrase pedal - I can't read stuff like burgundy on black in bad light conditions.
Yeah, this one's a big NO for me. 900 pounds for a device with one of the worst UI's ever, a micro USB (what were they thinking?), invisible control labels, tiny, nonstandard keyboard, and the sound...really nothing to write home about. I'm sure it will appeal to the Teenage Engineering demographic who love paying ridiculous prices for tiny overpriced bits of gear just because "cool", but not for me, thanks.
Haha, gotta love Jack’s face when he says “micro USB”. 😂
Nice one Jack great to see you ,

900 POUNDS?!!! For that price I want a real key bed.
It reminds me of a 'TOY' Keyboard

Quick slight correction, it's Mark Johnston, not Matt Johnston, he has a great music gear channel.

Yeah the awkwardness of playing in any flat/sharp heavy key makes this a no-go for me.

I’m into it… save for the micro usb 🤢
It sounds great, but not $900 great.
This thing is DOA at £899.
