At this point I’ve seen 90% or more of his videos and this is easily my favorite game he plays, you totally hit the nail on the head why that is I think.
I read this before watching the video and I can't stop laughing, it's way too accurate. 🤣
I cannot _tell_ you how horrifying it was when he casually, conversationally, engaged a chatter to show them that the dummies were sealed away, and found out that they were *ALL* *GONE*

Quick little lore drop (no spoilers dw, only cool facts about that lovable little robot): Kerfus is based off of the real life Kerfus robot. "Kerfus" is what the store Carrefour (located in Poland) named thier bellabot (the model of robot). Bellabots are usually used to help restraunt staff or wander around general stores carrying goods people can buy. They are very polite and you can give them different names. If you pet them on the head or behind the ears they actully react, but don't pet them too much because then they get annoyed, as they need to do their job.
These robots also have different voices because they need to be recorded.
They are all over the world in stores and cafes, slowly taking over our planet while manufacturing themselfes in factories in China.

I love the absurdity of VotV. It is easily my favorite game of his that he streams. Seeing the mannequins having all disappeared mysteriously without so much as a trace was both hilarious and horrifying.
An unhinged twink doxxing space civilizations for a daily salary, an army of sentient mannequins, a biomechanical skinwalker thing hiding in the woods, Kerfuś, unnamed horrors beyond human comprehension, a shrimp-loving space catgirls... VotV really has it all!
Playing the game, its a lot less absurd and just unnerving. You spend a lot of time just riding through the woods, hoping that sound wasn't the random 4th entity in the woods
The Dev needs to input a "stay" for Kerfus. The little robot only has two modes "work" and "constantly bump into owner"
There is a command in the terminal.
Go to the camera screen, refresh the active cameras, select kerfus, and hit the green "return" button. Congrats, your kerfus will now sit still until you repeat the process.

i love the 666 signal man it really gets you by suprise if you dont know about it. legit if you watch the radar afterwards you can see a line of packed together dots which when they reach you makes that screen appear (and the split second spooky face or whatever it was)

It's not as scary when you realize it's just one of the two space cat-elves that landed east of the base. The free shrimp packets when you go to bed indicate that they like you. Do expect them to punt you every now and then, and for them to start rummaging around your place (which may accidentally result in your kerfus ending up in the backrooms for a bit). They compensate with free food.
Fun fact: one of them can develop a crush on Dr kel, and the two will make Dr kel plushies for you after enough time passes.)

This is video is the first time i watched someone playing this game (Voices of the Void) except for a clip of joel looking for maxwell or smth but i had no idea what the game was until now.
Let me tell that this the MOST FEVER DREAM VIDEO TO START ON, like holy fuck i thought i had just stumbled upon the most insane gameplay video on the planet, and thats even WITH already having watched charborg before.

As I watched this and saw the "The End is Near" signal I started giggling my ass off because I *knew* Charborg wouldn't know what to do.
The amazing thing about this robot that it actually exists in an actual restaraunt. He is used to serve food, and mostly gain people's attraction. I did get a chance to meet this lil' goober, and petting him will make him do the "XD"-ish kinda face. He is cute overall, 10/10.

The mannequins are one of the worst parts of this game. They genuinely DO move, and it happens at random. One time i caught it on radar. It moved so fast, parallel to the sweep, so there was a LINE down the radar
