i think destiny is learning nuance in words. The statement is a lot more diplomatic...for example both nick and destiny want what's best for america in their eyes (same ideal) but they differ in how they want to get there (opposed to some extent). At least that's how i interpret things.

Nick already conceded that he doesnt believe in any specific conspiracy on 9/11, just that he doesnt trust the "official narrative". It sounds like he's saying that he wants to "cool off" on talking to Nick because of Mr Girl's ban, which i interpret as not having nick on his show, but then every time nick claims that destiny doesn't want to have a conversation with Nick, destiny says he can join the stream at any time.
The same thing happened when he said he wasn't going to interact with Vaush or keffels, then proceeded to react to updates on their streams every time something interesting happened in their lives, and publicly said he might support kiwi farms financially. I don't think it's a problem to do any of those things, but as someone who only sees what he posts on RUclips/ doesn't watch live often, it seems contradictory to me. Maybe I'm missing a lot of context by not watching live though.

Destiny actually has a really good take on Fuentes earlier on in this video. Nick is absolutely beholden to his old public views from when he was 18. And by the way I think it also helps Nick to keep the same views in that the really old-school christians or incels get pipelined straight to his channel easily. But at the end of the day if Nick was a normal dude without a channel, I think he would have grown out of some opinions by now. Does anyone know destiny's actual planned course of action here? It sounds like he's saying that he wants to "cool off" on talking to Nick because of Mr Girl's ban, which i interpret as not having nick on his show, but then every time nick claims that destiny doesn't want to have a conversation with Nick, destiny says he can join the stream at any time.
The same thing happened when he said he wasn't going to interact with Vaush or keffels, then proceeded to react to updates on their streams every time something interesting happened in their lives, and publicly said he might support kiwi farms financially. I legit hate Nick for his fake personality. I don't think he holds the views he claims because he has now been caught being polite and understanding in private convos, but then goes full right wing narrative when he is making videos. I wonder if he was getting feedback that he was sleeping with the enemy and so he has to sort of burn a bridge live on air to prove he is still on the right side. But that just makes him no better than a fake news media company that just does what they think the fans want to hear rather than the full truth. Nick is just right wing fake news at this point rather than just a fringe conspiracy theorist, because I don't trust he believes what he claims anymore.

I can understand the different takes/perspectives during a conversation, but this behaviour is dousing the bridge in petrol and playing with matches. I have to agree that he does this do above and beyond most if not all other streamers of his size.
But it is interesting that he is honest about how groypers are likely in his chat. How do you deal with sensitive topics and especially discussing other people and streamers, where you have to say “don’t brigade this person” or something of the like, when you know there’s a pool of bad actors who are actively listening and ready to pull some stunts and even undermine you?
I don’t put any blame on Destiny for this, but it does seem like an interesting and hard to solve issue. Arguably groypers in his chat aren’t his actual community, but they can pose as such, and claiming they aren’t is kind of a “no true Scotsman” argument because anyone viewing is simply a viewer, especially repeat viewers (even if there groypers) and how they act in response to his content has a real impact 🤔

Destiny actually has a really good take on Fuentes earlier on in this video. Nick is absolutely beholden to his old public views from when he was 18.
And by the way I think it also helps Nick to keep the same views in that the really old-school christians or incels get pipelined straight to his channel easily. But at the end of the day if Nick was a normal dude without a channel, I think he would have grown out of some opinions by now.
Now speaking of public vs private personality, I also think Nick could be a fakecel. I’ve seen his chat call him a fakecel, and that makes more sense to me. A lot of it is definitely for show. Humor me. Nick’s nerdy but a very funny guy. There are equally conservative girls out there, believe it or not, and a guy with Nick’s visibility wouldn’t have a problem finding them.

I don't think he's actually an incel, more of a volcel. I've seen people say that he's trying to "reclaim" the word or something. Girls have hit on him on his stream before, and he's freaked out over it.
