  • Here I am showing my titanium wood stove from Lixada, and another one with some modifications for multifuntional use.

    Hey super bedacht Dieter ! inderdaad dat je potten en pannen altijd in de weg staan als je er iets naast wil schroeien of gewoon warmte wil. En de mooie choppert even in actie gezien, die is ook goed gelukt . top ! Grt !

    I like the idea of modification, i have one but im i going to buy another becaus when build it up normally and just add another panell to make it into a pentagon rather than a square it would be much bigger than normal you could even make it a hex or heptagon if you want, and you can use the top cross to lift the vase for air flow. When used as a pentagon you can use the second stove as a triangle for smaller stuff. Just an idea for you, im certainly gonna use it

      Yep, i thought about it, but then i would not be able to use the bottom plate. This works for me. A friend of mine did the pentagon version like you mention, he's happy with it. He cut out a piece of a pizza plate and made it somehow work as a bottom panel.

      It's the M size, but i have also made one already with the L size.

    This is.. actually a really cool mod.
    I miss living in The Netherlands (Den Haag) ... but I moved back to Scotland. My own fault !!

      Scotland is great as well. I moved from Holland to Czech Republic 16 years ago, and to be honest, i like it here more. Much more nature available

      Dabberty Thanks regretfully we’re flying into Munich then catching the train to Pilsen spending a night there then up Volary to walk back to zwiesel - why do things the easy way ?🧐my friend who lives in Germany is the navigator...

    hey Bud whats the model of this stove i order three of these and keep getting the small one, the never show a comparison and its hard to tell the size from the pictures on eBay... how do you know which are the large and which are the small?

      Hi, it's from Lixada. The small ones are around 12 cm long at the bottom. The large ones are a bit over 15 cm long at the bottom. I bought them on Aliexpress, not through ebay.

      Thats a cut open 2l beer can, quite thick tin.

      @@GarfieldSound it's no aluminium, but something like sheet metal.
      But the best and lightest is still carbon felt, i have that one as well.

      @@dabberty Carbon felt also burns down after some hours as a camp fire. I'm looking for something durable for heating as a camp fire the whole night... I guess Titanium is the one to go on the ground as well..

      @@GarfieldSound thats strange, the piece i use for 3 years bow is still all good, but then again, i usually dont burn longer then max 1 hour on it.
      If it is for longer, then i usually put there some sand or rock or pebbles under it.

      Dank je! Hij was twee weken geleden mee op onze 8 daagse hike in noorwegen, en hij bleek perfect te zijn voor 2 personen om tegelijkertijd te koken, en vis te grillen. Binnenkort daar ook een videootje daar over.

    Wow die is Geniaal..
    Ik heb de stalen al een hele poos. En n kleine titanium. Die grote titanium heb ik nooit gevonden.
    je kan m ook in een driekant mod gebruiken voor nog minder gewicht.
    Of vijfkant...
    Ik zou bij jou model de opening aan de kopse kant doen, dan kan je lange takken erin poeren..
    Net zoals worst in n hond😄

    Is it 160mm or 180mm height version of the stove?

      Height i dont know but in the video i'm saying the base width.
      But it doesn't matter, i've done it with both versions. Soon i will post a "how to" video.

      If the divine one would have wanted me to be louder, he would not have created the strong sound of the birdies.
      Therefore, it resonates as if this info is only for the true believers with good hearing, like all the others who commented already without hearing problems.

      Instead of a 'thank you for sharing this original mod', you can only complain about language.
      Instead of asking for an English spoken version, you prefer to complain.
