I said a similar thing in my comment. Some of these structures deserve major adoration, not layperson criticism and judgement. That "sun dial" house is amazing for several reasons.
I almost moved into Habitat 67; the only thing that stopped me was the need to be in more of the downtown area of Montreal. Love the apartments; you don't have that crowded-in feeling common with most apartment complexes. Terrific design, both interior and exterior. It works. 👍
I have passed the Flintstone house many many times on the 280 Freeway. Always hear stories about angry neighbors. Yes it's pretty odd & ugly but unless they lived there before it was built they should get over it.
I like the fun of all these houses. Regardless of your playing them down. I toured “The Flintstone House” when the first owner had it for sale. Before all the yabba dabba was added. I liked it, even though not all was practical.
I find these buildings interesting and even beautiful, creative, inspiring and unique. Why not appreciate them instead of insult them and the people who worked hard to create them ?!!
Habitat 67 is beautiful and doesn't deserve the criticism. The complex has stunning interiors, roof decks, and solariums, and most units have spectacular views of Montreal and the St. Lawrence River. A two-bedroom unit sells for about $1.3 million, so it's a prestigious place to live.
So much judgment. I mean... these houses may not be conventional, but they sure as hell are unique and special! I'd love to live in one of these, especially Habitat 67!
Dang, the narrative is kind of negative and judgey 🤣 I love all of these creative spaces, I would definitely live in the bubble house or the Flintstone house! Who is to say what is normal, stay weird friends!!!
Some of them are very cool. I don’t think I would live in any of them. The water tower home would look better if they left it to look like a water tower. I enjoyed this video, thank you 😊
The Bubble House is definitely not ugly. I'd paint it different colours. The interior is amazing. I like how they esch represent a persons unique personality.
I actually like all these houses that you guys mentioned. I can't believe you guys would put it in a negative light like that, but that's just me I guess. I think all those structures look great, especially the wooden structure in Russia, I actually liked that house lot more than all the rest combined
The steel house is good for a spaceship set. The sutyagen house is perfect for a spooky house. Habitat 67 looks like a mix of hillless slums of Rio de Janeiro and concrete container houses.
This was a weird video. Some of those structures deserve adoration, not judgement.... Like the sun dial house. What are you talking about, "that's an ugly house, and you'd have to get over the interior." The narrator talks about this house like it was a failure of an ambitious idea, when in actuality, it was a success. Not only is it unique and interesting, the form follows function, in that the tilt of the roof maximizes sun in the winter, and shade in the summer. Not to mention the fact that a whole facade of the house is essentially a large window = amazing views, and natural lighting for the house.
Dude what kind of childhood did you have?? Many people including myself would like to live in these weird homes!! Well maybe not the super narrow one but the others sure!
Most of these I think look pretty cool compared to the boring structures that dot the landscape now. I would gladly live in any of these homes! And I absolutely love habitat 67 and the bubble house!
The houses WERE INTERESTING but the ENTIRE VIDEO would have been MUCH BETTER WITHOUT the negative comments by the narrator ! He should have KEPT his personal comments to himself !
I think the Flinstone's House is fantastic!!! ...and you call it terrible...I would LOVE to visit this house...the owner obviously went through a lot of work to create it...and yet you criminalize it...if this is what you do in all your videos, then don't expect me to subscribe...
I would love to live in a 'weird' house cause I'm weird myself ROFL!!! And I also love weird ;-) As long there are shops nearby (Do not have a car and need food, medication and so on!) I would gladly live there, o yeah!!!! That bubblehouse f.i., just WOW!!! Lots of love from weird Pinkie hahaha BTW: that what most people find ugly or weird, I see beauty in it 9 out of 10 times. It's easy to say it's ugly if you are not willing or able to look deeper!
It would be a very boring world if we didn't have so much creativity. I like to celebrate the differences in each of us and that we all have very different personalities and ideas of how we like to live.. I don't like sameness, so boring.
At 12:39 ...there you go again...by calling the pickle barrel house terrible, you are criticizing the history of fanciful exotic structures of America that have become landmarks and tourist attractions...
If I had the money to create it I would be on his list with my whale house. I can imagine it with the mouth of the whale as my front porch then the main of the body my home as it goes below the ground before the tail raises up a few feet away. The tail surprise is that it is my tool shed.
At 10:17 ...you criticize the wonderful bubble house...then you show old fashioned ticky tacky houses...and you then call the bubble house ugly...who are you to say what is good or bad??? Just show the houses and let everyone make their on decisions...don't be like MSNBC...
You are very judgmental and biased...many of these home are very unique in a pleasing way...they become iconic...as opposed to the cookie cutter houses you seem to embrace...
There's nothing wrong with being different. Imagine if all of us had the same personality. We should be more receptive to being different.
Right!!! If we all had the same personality, the same houses, cars, clothes, etc....the world would be a very boring place...
I said a similar thing in my comment. Some of these structures deserve major adoration, not layperson criticism and judgement. That "sun dial" house is amazing for several reasons.
Hurricane Juliet
I love the steel house & the bubble house, I am an artist so I get it. Unconventional is interesting & they're elegant in a way.
I almost moved into Habitat 67; the only thing that stopped me was the need to be in more of the downtown area of Montreal. Love the apartments; you don't have that crowded-in feeling common with most apartment complexes. Terrific design, both interior and exterior. It works. 👍
EVERY home is hideous??????? I love them all and would live in, or next to, any one.
I have passed the Flintstone house many many times on the 280 Freeway. Always hear stories about angry neighbors. Yes it's pretty odd & ugly but unless they lived there before it was built they should get over it.
I love the Bubble house and the Flintstone house. I see nothing wrong with living in something wild.
I like the fun of all these houses.
Regardless of your playing them down.
I toured “The Flintstone House” when the first owner had it for sale. Before all the yabba dabba was added.
I liked it, even though not all was practical.
I don't think any of these houses look bad at all I think they're amazing and anyone should be lucky to be able to live in one
I thought most of these were pretty cool. I would have loved to see the insides of the ones that weren't shown.
I find these buildings interesting and even beautiful, creative, inspiring and unique. Why not appreciate them instead of insult them and the people who worked hard to create them ?!!
I pass the "Flintstone House" to and from work and although it's odd, it makes a lot of people smile. I guess it's just us crazy Californians.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! 😉👍✨
the dumpster house sucks, that I can agree with, but not the rest of them, I love how different they are. That bubble house is seriously cool !
One persons treasure is another persons trash.

The Steel House is beautiful, as are most of these buildings! Different is GOOD!!
So much judgment. I mean... these houses may not be conventional, but they sure as hell are unique and special! I'd love to live in one of these, especially Habitat 67!

Right!? He had to say how horrible they all looked but I thought they were pretty unique and cool.
@@jasonwolkow566 exactly 🤣
These houses are different, not badly designed
I would live in most of these houses they are cool
Just to he contrary, I kind of like all of them. Well maybe not the Dumpster House. I don't want to be showering outside in public.
Some of them are very cool. I don’t think I would live in any of them. The water tower home would look better if they left it to look like a water tower. I enjoyed this video, thank you 😊
It was always a brick building and likely one with monument status, they renovated the outside not changed it
I love the bubble house. That's real Innovation in architectural design.
The Bubble House is definitely not ugly. I'd paint it different colours. The interior is amazing. I like how they esch represent a persons unique personality.
I like ‘em.
I think these are INTERESTING, not horrible. The steel house is gorgeous!
The people who live in the water tower house must have watched a lot of Animaniacs and I think the Elephant Building is cute.
You likely aren't European, most of our water towers are brick buildings not the steel ones you have in usa
Yaba daba doo! Flu stone’s house for me! Love it!

I just wish it had been built better. The quality of construction was terrible.
Some of these are cool.
The steel house is good for a spaceship set.
The sutyagen house is perfect for a spooky house.

I love all these "ugly" homes especially the Bubble House. Hes a.little harsh

Sutyagin House has to be a the craziest, all made of wood! I don't know if I be able to muscle courage to live in it!
Bubblehouse is freaking awesome!
The only thing better than seeing the exteriors would be if we could a also see the interiors
Most of these I think look pretty cool compared to the boring structures that dot the landscape now. I would gladly live in any of these homes! And I absolutely love habitat 67 and the bubble house!
I've been in Lubbock, and couldn't wait to get out! So many tornados hit Lubbock that I'd want a solid steel house too...
The first one is not a house, is one of the back entrances of Antwerp's Zoo
The worst architecture I see are the cookie cutter buildings. All alike with no personality.
Am still waiting for a building or house that I’d consider “terrible”…
I kinda thought I was touring 'Whoville', bordering on 'Toon town'.
Thank God no one can see my house from here!
Про дом Сутягина первый раз услышал. Из каких-то старых заборов сотворил диковину.
Can't believe this list doesn't include the "crazy house" in Vietnam.. much more extensive and interesting than most of these places
Habitat 67's cost to maintain is so high that owners sell their condo right away
i honestly like all of them except the first one
The Belgium water tower was a brick building like most European water towers you can't change that
Omg I want to live in a water tower!!!!😍😍😍

NEWS FLASH!
I liked a lot of them, so we all do NOT agree . . .
So, the Bubble House should have it’s named changed to The Womb Home? 🤣
This is cool

It would be a very boring world if we didn't have so much creativity. I like to celebrate the differences in each of us and that we all have very different personalities and ideas of how we like to live.. I don't like sameness, so boring.
Flintstones of the future? The Jetsons?
These buildings are all very interesting and cool, this narrator needs to chill tf out 😂
All these houses would or will make tons of money on Airbnb.

I think that some architects have too much time on their hands
