Hello, what would require a cpu to get re-balled? I was chasing a short on a line and I did a rookie mistake of pulling out all ICs on the line. I got the short and removed it, returned the ICs but the phone slow boots for a few seconds then shorts out. No logo. I'm looking to either get another board and transfer the main components but for my own knowledge what would cause the CPU to require re-balling?
Aaron I’m having issues with the A13. I can do any cpu transplant except when it comes to the A13 for some reasons by the time I’ve finished lifting up the CPU the ram gets shorted and its so frustrating cause I am using the same temperature and Airflow that I use to remove A10-A12
Some bigger "pro max" models might have bigger ram, but I am not 100% sure. I know on older iphone 7, it had 2 gb ram and 7p had 3gb. In that case, you could increase the ram but I am not sure if there was any real performance increase or not.

hi bro, what temp and air flow to control the ram removal and replaced?
I use pretty low. Maybe 180 - 200c.

@@uio86a it is not possible like that
air, temp need to be specified ,,Subscibers request
I always just guess with temps. It is best to just get a feel for good temps through practice.
