I remember a casual duel with a friend where i quaking mirrored him and he had to play with 1 monster space. He legit begged me to kill his monsters...
@@swag9374 Not true, the official rulings for "Polymerization" and many other fusion cards state that the fusion materials CAN be facedown. You are correct for other summoning methods though. Of course there is also the question of cards that remove monsters from your side of the side either as cost or as effect...
It is said that "Mirror Force" isn't a negate attack and also state that the initial attack would go through but it is activated by a declaration of attack. This means that the attacking monster would be destroyed before the attack could go through. This is evident even further as an attacking monster that is destroyed by "Mirror Force" can still attack if brought back during that same battle phase by something like "Call of the Haunted".
Superheavy Samurai are currently meta in Duel Links, but there are other decks which see a lot more play. A better example for countering them would be the spell card "Soul Release".
*Mirror Force:* The original. *Dark Mirror Force:* The reason why Superheavy Samurai can never be good. *Radiant Mirror Force:* The bad one. *Storming Mirror Force:* If Compulse had an off day, but was also on crack. *Blazing Mirror Force:* It's essentially *Mirror Force* from season 1. *Drowning Mirror Force:* The balanced one. *Quaking Mirror Force:* It's every Ghostrick player's wet dream.
Jacob is right, there may be a time where Superheavy Samurai gets support to be top tier meta and that's when it will become the best tech of that format.
I always thought it would be cool to have some kind of gimmicky archetype like traptrix but based around the Mirror Forces and have some quick access to Mirror Force Dragon as a kind of boss monster
It’s card like Blazing Mirror Force that completely ruined the Ring of Defense combos that Kaiba used. The Ring of Destruction/Defense combo is completely stopped because of the new rulings.
Arthas35788 Well Back then, Ring of Destruction would damage you and your opponent at the same time. With Ring of Defense, you were safe from the damage effect but your opponent still received the damage. But now, you have to take damage first then your opponent receives the same amount. If you Ring of Defense your damage, your opponent receives 0 damage as well, pretty much ruining the effect.
no ring of defense say. ''make the damage 0'' not ''you dont take damage'' that mean everything that cause dmg on the card is reduced to 0. Its just because of the anime and because we didnt know how to play back then that we think it worked that way.
I remember a while ago I was playing Majespecters and had a full board of them. I had just enough damage on board for game, when I went to attack the guy flipped the OG Mirror Force looked real smug and literally said "Better luck next time dude". When I pointed out that the Majespecters couldn't be destroyed by card effects and that the attack would continue he threw a tantrum about power creep and the Pendulum mechanic and blah blah and stormed out of the room. It was magnificent.
Heres a way u can use Mirror Force and Dark Mirror Force and clear ur opponents field as an example *In a middle of a dual* Opponent: By tributing my 2 monsters, i get to sommun, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and by using the spell card double Sommun, i can trubute 1 card to set, *Battle Fase* Now my *Insert an Attacking monster hear* attack *insert said monster signature move* You: Not so fast, i activate my trap card, mirror force, it destroys all of ur attack position monsters Opponent: You just activated my Counter Trap, Wire Tape, whenever a trap is activated, i get to negate it, and *Force* u to shuffle it into the deck. You: ok Opponent: At least you dont have another one, boo hoo, oh; my monster didnt got its attack negated, so continue to attack my monster. The attack works! Your thoughts: he doesn't know i have another one set for his Blue-Eyes, and Dark Mirror Force set for his set cards. I'm expecting a high defense with that tributed monster he set. *Insert planning face when your done thinking of a plan that will allow you to win* Opponent: Hey, your bord has one monster and its Mystery Shell Dragon which, if i Activate Shield And Sword, allows me to switch the defense and attack of your monster. Hahaha, with ur puny 1500 Life Points, 1 attack will allow me to win, attack Blue-Eyes, Burst Stream of Destruction You: Not so fast, you activated my trap, Magical Cylinder- Opponent: I'll use Dust Tornado to kill it You:Ok, *Whilst having no more spell/traps to help the situation* i Activate Dark Mirror Force to Banish all of ur defense position monsters and i'll will gladly chain it with my little friend, Mirror Force! Opponent: I thought that it was Limited. You: No, its Unlimited :-) Opponent: Nnnnnnnnooooooooooo!!!!!! Well then, i end my turn. But before that, u do remember about Supply Squad, which once per turn, for every monster that was destroyed by battle/Card effect, i draw 1 card, *Pluck* Sh!t, *thoughts* its that dumb down version of Pot Of Greed that banish 10 cards from the top of ur deck, to draw 2 cards, but that wont help whatsoever *end of thoughts* You: i set a card, then use duoble sommun to sommun a card then uae it once more to tribute sommun the Winged Dragon of Ra and i activate its effect by paying Life Points intill i have 100 left to gain it Attck Points then activate Poison Of The Old Man to regain me Life Points to 1300 in total then use its other effect to wipe out ur board entirely, 300 left (sorry, i dont know the "paying life points effects that well so its like that intill someone tells me its true effect) so say bye-bye to ur spell/traps just in case u set a Mirror Force to tale out Ra, Ra, attack and finish this dual Opponent: i activate Swift ScareCrow to end the battle fase, the i draw *Pluck* *thoughts* Aroma Jar isnt good because the card that gives him the same Life Points as i do by card effects. And *without knowing Dust Tornado was unlimited* Dust Tornado is limited, i know i'll use Monster Reborn to sommun Blue-Eyes back *End of Thought* i activate Monster Reborn to Reborn my Bl- You: Stop right there, Dust Tornado Opponent: 😡 You: 😇 Opponent: i'll just set a monster to end my turn You: Go, Poison of The Old Man, Life Points please, now my Life Points is 1500, then i'll sommun a monster and Double Sommun to sommun my ace monster who's name is Ventdra, The Impowered Warrior. Its effects allow me to attack directly with this card, so with this in mind,2 attacks with this monster who has 2000 attack and 800 defense is going to attack directly with no cards to worry about because u have nothing on the field that will help u *Boom* Opponent: ahhhhhhhhhoooooouuuuuuuuccccchhh!!!!!!!, that hurted! You: attack Ra to leave him with 100 life points Opponent: wait, Ra cant attack directly, can he? You: Shoot, i forgot, so direct the attack to his face down monster, *Flip* You: WTF, Marshmallon takes away my 1000 Life Points do to it bing Fliped any way shape or form. Opponent: Correcto Mongo! *Thoughts, this monster wi buy me some time to think* *End of thoughts* my draw, *Pluck* Nothing again, i end my turn You: I draw *Pluck* good,my ace, attack directly to finish the dual, Opponent: Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! You: Yes! I knew i could count on my chain :-)
The original printing of Mirror Force from Metal Raiders DID say that it negates the attack. That always bothered me that they left that out in all later reprints of the card
Fun fact, Phantom Knight Burning Abyss(aka PK Fire) was developed by a couple friends of mine that I met on Dueling Network. Also I tend to run both storming and drowning(aka rippling) unless I want to run Mirror Force Dragon, which is fun but is more of a side deck thing than a main deck thing
I got back in to Yugioh at the start of link monsters, so I was trying to figure it out and I started with palio frog, I used mirror force in the deck and I loved it when people would run there full bord of link monsters into it.
Quaking in a Toon Deck. Sometimes bringing Storming can be good here also- anything that CAN tribute, regardless of if it the strategy they were going for- can be a little tough to deal with
Hey, what about mirror force launcher? It technically counts. I mean, it's alright. I think it would actually see a bit of play if it could search a mirror force card, but since it's just vanilla mirror force, it's not THAT good.
In the games, typically you’re not allowed to look at your opponents cards that are permanently flipped faced down. So if you’re not paying enough attention, you could forget what monster your opponent has and not know what their defense is thus making you take battle damage. Is this true for the TCG as well?
All drowning mirror force needs is for a deck revolving around direct attacks to become meta. Something along the lines of Ghostrick where all the monsters were capable of attacking directly with help from the field spell, or maybe something like Watts where the monsters were naturally able to attack directly. With an archetype like that I'm pretty sure Drowning would become a side deck option.
I've always had a problem with Storming Mirror Force because it lets your opponents get off their monsters on summon effect. Especially Monarch Eribus.
"Shining Silver Force" is an exception to this pattern. Despite also being a member of the series (the presence of フォース on its Japanese name), it is a Counter Trap Card, that must be activated in a very specific situation, that destroys all face-up Spell/Trap Cards the opponent controls.
Quaking mirror force is actually a pretty nice trap. It may not destroy your opponent's monsters, but it jams them in face down defense position and they stay that way. Yeah I remember trying to find Mirror Force back in the day when I first got into Yu-Gi-Oh! from the Metal Raiders series. It was CRAZY expensive back then.
ShadowInazumaDigimon it only stops attacks if the monster is destroyed, so it does effectively negate any attack from a monster that can be destroyed by card effect.
it's a good idea to actually read cards for this exact reason. people most likely had a vague idea of how mirror force worked, without taking the time to read it.
If I recall correctly, the only deck that could kind of play Drowning Mirror Force was Qliphort Stun simply because of the nature of the deck. Great video!!
I kind of want to play a one of copy of blazing mirror force in DDDs, just to mess with people. They would literally never see it coming, but they go in to attack a Ragnarok or something and you flip up blazing mirror force, gain 5000 life points, burn for 5000, and of course, wipe your opponent's board. It's not incredible, but it's like, locals worthy. I think I would actually just die of laughter of the sheer stupidity of the situation. Or wait, is it an if you do? Because if so, this doesn't work.
I've only had one instance in recent memory where Drowning Mirror force won me a duel late game, and that was against my friend's Toon Deck. I think that was the primary reason for it's creation, really, given the time that the card came out, it seems designed specifically to go against both toons and such things as the earthbound immortals.
You know, me and my friends were talking about the mirror forces and that quaking was the best with the old format. However since liks can't be swiched to defence so i think the og mirror force is the best.
I'm not sure if this is still a thing, but if you flip a card face-down with Quaking, in Yugioh: Legacy of the Duelist, you can tribute the face-down monsters to summon other creatures.
Chain Quaking Mirror Force to Dark Mirror Force and all of your opponent's monsters will end up banished. Quaking will put all of them face down defense (if they're not in defense position already) before Dark resolves so when Dark resolves, it'll banish those switched by the effect of Quaking and any other monsters already in defense mode.
Opponent: *Attacks* Me: "I activate Mirror Force" Next Turn Opponent: *Attacks* Me: "I activate my 2nd Mirror Force" Next Turn Opponent: *Switches all but one monster to defense, then Attacks * Me: "I activate my Dark Mirror Force"
About a minute in he says mirror force doesn't actually negate and calls it "a popular belief", yet he fails to mention that when mirror force was first released in Meteal Raiders it did negate as it said, "When an opponent's monster attacks, Negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position". www.trollandtoad.com/p131259.html He fails to mention that the card had an errata because it was considered to strong.
Even though it's not a "mirror force" card I think an honorable mention should be given to wall of thorns it is a battle trap like mirror force, its effect states if your opponent declares an attack on a plant type monster destroy all attack position monsters they control. Though a plain mirror force is better you can use this card in a predominantly plant based deck instead of mirror force. I use it in my plant deck as well as regular mirror force to constantly whipe the bord
Yu-gi-oh's about the heart of the cards. If you don't passionately scream out every command you make, you're not playing the game properly in the spirit of Yu-gi-oh
Raigeki works well with Quaking Mirror Force Just Position your monsters before taking them out with Raigeki and summon Espionage Expert or activate Ancient Gear Cannon's special effect before going on an all out assault just incase your opponent has a trap such as mirror force even though there are times where you've got no option but to take the chance and if that is the case then keep a good defence monster in defence position just in case.
You can use ultimate conductor tyranno on monsters flipped down by quaking mirror force for lots of burn damage. I used to play a deck that used brachios to flip enemies down and waltz in with UTC and burn them to death.
I didn’t play Yu-Gi-Oh long or well as a kid, but my best ever win, was I laid down a back row card and passed, then when he played a monster in attack mode, I smirked, looked at that backrow card. He did too, and like.. this was a long time ago, Mirror Force was rampant, and he just....never attacked until the end, until finally he turned his cards to defense and attacked with....I think it was Summoned Skull, and destroyed one of my monsters, and then next turn I ran over his remaining monsters , and beat him. I put most of my cards away, and then the backrow, flipping it over to show MST, put it away...and run before he could get angry. I think I used up all my mind game skills on that one game. Never played as good mind games since!
Actually one funny thing that I just learned recently is that you can actually Fusion summon with faced down monsters due to some bizarre ruling that I think only counts the materials when they hit the grave.
8: 23 this has the only drawback, that you can use only when this opponent attacks at the vital point. On the other hand, is better protection than no ison the other hand, is better protection than no is.
Dark mirror force can be comboed with windstorm of entiqua which switches all opposing monsters to defenses so chain 1 dark mirror force and chain 2 windstrom during the battle phase.
I feel like Drowning could see some more side deck play if Multifaker does make Altergeists into a competitive contender because Meluseek can attack directly. Shuffling Meluseek (and probably Multifaker too) seems like super value for shutting the deck down
Might actually want to play drowning mirror force in the upcoming meta when the Timelord support drops. A problem I've had is my Timelords may get bounced back by decks using Lair of Darkness (I'm often only using 1 or 2 Timelords at most), so something that answers direct attacks might be good.
Blazing Mirror Force is good if you chain it with rainbow life or prime material dragon. You gain all the life. Some of this trap cards are meant to be combo with other cards.
It’s not ideally consistent but using blazing mirror force with d/d/d Oracle king d’arc out was a fun little strategy to gain more life while wiping the opponents monsters
So on the topic of Blazing Mirror Force, I think it would be best to combo it with any cards that convert damage into LP. Thus you would gain from the cards effect while damaging your oponent and clearing the field.
Nice Video :) Only thing I have to critic is that you could've mentioned that in this particular time period the quacking mirror force is now "worse" because you can't put link monsters in face-down (*ass first xD*) defence position. I still agree with everything else you said but I thought it was worth mentioning :)
Very rarely is the Wind Attribute card in a set of elemental cards one of, if not the, strongest one in the set. Air/Wind is my favorite element, so I really love Storming Mirror Force.
I think you can get around the quaking/extra zone issue with a link summon, considering the cards are public knowledge it's alot like non-contact fusions with facedowns. Correct me if I'm wrong.
... I suddenly really wish they’d release support for one of these Trap archetypes so you could make a whole Deck around them. I mean there was Paleozoics and those were freaking badass and I loved them so much, but it’s not the same as the idea of a dedicated Trap Deck, even if I’m not quite sure how it would work.
I know you don’t like looking at stuff that isn’t out yet but I’d love to hear any thoughts about mirror force launcher, I can’t tell if it’ll be viable in any decks yet but I think it’s definitely interesting and might even bring mirror force to light again
Gimmick they might be it'd be cool if we got retrains and new fusions for the legendary dragons (mostly Critias, since the other 2 fuse with monsters but Critias fuses with traps which is unique). A new version of *Mirror Force Dragon* that can be made with any mirror force with "once per turn can activate the effect of a "mirror force" card in your GY that meets its activation conditions" would be interesting. *Trap Hole Dragon* made with any "Hole" normal trap card, *Magic Cylinder Dragon, Greedy Jargon* (Jar of Greed/ Jar of Avarice), *Fair Fight Dragon* made with Evenly Matched which banishes everything on summon and puts a token copy of itself on your opponents field. Cannot be tributed/ used as any kind of material, cannot attack Fair Fight Dragon/ token. *Paleozoic Dragon* made with a Paleozoic trap card, *Metalmorph Dragon* . Lots of potential fusions.
My earliest yugioh memory is when I was 3 and playing in a Toys-R-Us tournament. My opponent played around the mirror force, so I used dark mirror force. He attacked again. I flipped mirror force, then summoned a 1900 beatstick top deck and won the tournament
Dark mirror force is great for combos with cards that force battle positions, Quaking Mirror force is good with Dark. Blazing + a card like Damage mage.
1:09 The original mirror force said "negate the attack and destroy all atk position monsters" I guess it was slightly changed around the time it became a common in a structure deck.
first version of mirror force from MRD had in its text: negate the attack and destroy all face up att. pos. monsters... but for some reason they changed it later so its abit less OP :D
What I like to do is play quaking one turn then next turn use regular and dark at the same time. It limits their plays on the second turn and it clears their board for my turn
Dark mirror force worked in a blade rabbit deck, stumbling and the field card that changes monsters attack possition each turn, have to run dna surgery though so you destroy a trap/spell and a monster on each players turn. A stall deck that made my friends so mad I just laughed as I controlled the field with 4 cards on the field. Doubt it'd work in Yu-Gi-Oh today, games to meta
Wait, couldn't you combine quaking with dark? That sounds like an effective way to stomp monsters than normally can't be destroyed by effect. Also quaking + just deserts
Probably not possible but interesting to think about, is Quaking mirror force and Dark Mirror Force a chain-able combo? i don't know the order of the chain, i would believe it would go, Attack declared, Dark, wait for response, Quaking. Logic being: Quaking would resolve first changing all monsters to Defense mode, then Dark would banish.
Mirror force back then was also called friendship destroyer 3000 i believe

@@swag9374 Not true, the official rulings for "Polymerization" and many other fusion cards state that the fusion materials CAN be facedown. You are correct for other summoning methods though. Of course there is also the question of cards that remove monsters from your side of the side either as cost or as effect...
@@davidliu4134 wait seriously?
@@princesscrystal6410 Yes. You can fusion summon with facedown monsters in most cases.
Dark Mirror Force is for the people that believe that SuperHeavy Samurai will one day be meta
Hatzmania implying it isnt
Basically burn their dreams before it grows
Superheavy Samurai are currently meta in Duel Links, but there are other decks which see a lot more play. A better example for countering them would be the spell card "Soul Release".
@@r4nd0mguy99 Superheavy Samurai exist in Duel Links, but calling them "meta" is a stretch.
Dark mirror force is the biggest Superheavy Samurais counter doh
The six attributes? Divine Mirror Force confirmed
Dark Mirror Force is the best Mirror Force *Change My Mind*
Celza Yamuto IKR perfect counter to superheavy samurai
If your opponent is thinking your facedown is mirror force put others in defense than attack.
Dark Mirror Force and Bagooska
Jacob is right, there may be a time where Superheavy Samurai gets support to be top tier meta and that's when it will become the best tech of that format.
dark mirror force only exists to be on the field when mirror force is already on the field, even if they play around mirror force they still lose
I always thought it would be cool to have some kind of gimmicky archetype like traptrix but based around the Mirror Forces and have some quick access to Mirror Force Dragon as a kind of boss monster
Do trap holes next!!!!!
Hole-y?
It’s card like Blazing Mirror Force that completely ruined the Ring of Defense combos that Kaiba used. The Ring of Destruction/Defense combo is completely stopped because of the new rulings.
Ring of defense never worked that way except in the anime. It never specified a player not taking damage. It make the damage of the card 0.
Arthas35788 Ooooooh I see what you mean now. I stand corrected.
Barrel Behind the Door, however, did work with Ring of Destruction, and was quite a trolly combo. As far as I know it's the only one that still works.
Where is mirror force launcher???
I remember a while ago I was playing Majespecters and had a full board of them. I had just enough damage on board for game, when I went to attack the guy flipped the OG Mirror Force looked real smug and literally said "Better luck next time dude". When I pointed out that the Majespecters couldn't be destroyed by card effects and that the attack would continue he threw a tantrum about power creep and the Pendulum mechanic and blah blah and stormed out of the room. It was magnificent.
Heres a way u can use Mirror Force and Dark Mirror Force and clear ur opponents field as an example
*In a middle of a dual*
Opponent: By tributing my 2 monsters, i get to sommun, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and by using the spell card double Sommun, i can trubute 1 card to set, *Battle Fase* Now my *Insert an Attacking monster hear* attack *insert said monster signature move*
You: Not so fast, i activate my trap card, mirror force, it destroys all of ur attack position monsters
Opponent: You just activated my Counter Trap, Wire Tape, whenever a trap is activated, i get to negate it, and *Force* u to shuffle it into the deck.
You: ok
Opponent: At least you dont have another one, boo hoo, oh; my monster didnt got its attack negated, so continue to attack my monster.
The attack works!
Your thoughts: he doesn't know i have another one set for his Blue-Eyes, and Dark Mirror Force set for his set cards. I'm expecting a high defense with that tributed monster he set. *Insert planning face when your done thinking of a plan that will allow you to win*
Opponent: Hey, your bord has one monster and its Mystery Shell Dragon which, if i Activate Shield And Sword, allows me to switch the defense and attack of your monster. Hahaha, with ur puny 1500 Life Points, 1 attack will allow me to win, attack Blue-Eyes, Burst Stream of Destruction
You: Not so fast, you activated my trap, Magical Cylinder-
Opponent: I'll use Dust Tornado to kill it
You:Ok, *Whilst having no more spell/traps to help the situation* i Activate Dark Mirror Force to Banish all of ur defense position monsters and i'll will gladly chain it with my little friend, Mirror Force!
Opponent: I thought that it was Limited.
You: No, its Unlimited :-)
Opponent: Nnnnnnnnooooooooooo!!!!!!
Well then, i end my turn. But before that, u do remember about Supply Squad, which once per turn, for every monster that was destroyed by battle/Card effect, i draw 1 card, *Pluck* Sh!t, *thoughts* its that dumb down version of Pot Of Greed that banish 10 cards from the top of ur deck, to draw 2 cards, but that wont help whatsoever *end of thoughts*
You: i set a card, then use duoble sommun to sommun a card then uae it once more to tribute sommun the Winged Dragon of Ra and i activate its effect by paying Life Points intill i have 100 left to gain it Attck Points then activate Poison Of The Old Man to regain me Life Points to 1300 in total then use its other effect to wipe out ur board entirely, 300 left (sorry, i dont know the "paying life points effects that well so its like that intill someone tells me its true effect) so say bye-bye to ur spell/traps just in case u set a Mirror Force to tale out Ra, Ra, attack and finish this dual
Opponent: i activate Swift ScareCrow to end the battle fase, the i draw *Pluck* *thoughts* Aroma Jar isnt good because the card that gives him the same Life Points as i do by card effects. And *without knowing Dust Tornado was unlimited* Dust Tornado is limited, i know i'll use Monster Reborn to sommun Blue-Eyes back *End of Thought* i activate Monster Reborn to Reborn my Bl-
You: Stop right there, Dust Tornado
Opponent: 😡
You: 😇
Opponent: i'll just set a monster to end my turn
You: Go, Poison of The Old Man, Life Points please, now my Life Points is 1500, then i'll sommun a monster and Double Sommun to sommun my ace monster who's name is Ventdra, The Impowered Warrior. Its effects allow me to attack directly with this card, so with this in mind,2 attacks with this monster who has 2000 attack and 800 defense is going to attack directly with no cards to worry about because u have nothing on the field that will help u
*Boom*
Opponent: ahhhhhhhhhoooooouuuuuuuuccccchhh!!!!!!!, that hurted!
You: attack Ra to leave him with 100 life points
Opponent: wait, Ra cant attack directly, can he?
You: Shoot, i forgot, so direct the attack to his face down monster,
*Flip*
You: WTF, Marshmallon takes away my 1000 Life Points do to it bing Fliped any way shape or form.
Opponent: Correcto Mongo! *Thoughts, this monster wi buy me some time to think*
*End of thoughts* my draw, *Pluck* Nothing again, i end my turn
You: I draw *Pluck* good,my ace, attack directly to finish the dual,
Opponent: Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
You: Yes! I knew i could count on my chain :-)
The original printing of Mirror Force from Metal Raiders DID say that it negates the attack. That always bothered me that they left that out in all later reprints of the card
Blazing Mirror Force in D/D with D/D/D Oracle King D’Arc.
Just wanted to say something. I know it’d be pretty unlikely, but it’s possible.
0:52 I believe the original printing of it did negate the attack and actually said it did but nowadays its been errata'd.
Silly dezeeff dark mirrorforce was obviously invented to stop the tier 0 deck called super heavy samurais
Why don't you do one on the different Swords of Light?
No. It would be considered public knowledge at that point and you can ask
With Blazing Mirror force you could chain Barrel behind the door to it and make them take the full damage of the card.
Wait why did people think mirror force negated. Literally doesn't have any indication that it would if the destruction didn't go through.
ShadowInazumaDigimon it only stops attacks if the monster is destroyed, so it does effectively negate any attack from a monster that can be destroyed by card effect.
Nahzi he said it it is not destroyed people thought it still negated
it's a good idea to actually read cards for this exact reason. people most likely had a vague idea of how mirror force worked, without taking the time to read it.
Mirror force used to negate attacks when it was first printed.
mirror force has an errata, it used to negate
The Four Star Gamer with d'arc you only gain no one else burns
Sometimes I side in the og mirror force with Heroes. I love banishing all of my opponents attack position monsters thanks to Dark Law
Now review all Magic Cylinders

How the opponent even get many monsters on the field in every turn xD
pendulum summon lol
Pendulums are barely used, idiot
About a minute in he says mirror force doesn't actually negate and calls it "a popular belief", yet he fails to mention that when mirror force was first released in Meteal Raiders it did negate as it said, "When an opponent's monster attacks, Negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position".
www.trollandtoad.com/p131259.html
He fails to mention that the card had an errata because it was considered to strong.
MONSTA CARDO!
MONSTA CARDO!
MONSTA CARDO!
*DRAW*
*AND NOW I DISCARD THE MIGHTY KURIBOH TO NEGATE THE DAMAGE FROM YOUR ATTACK*
Raigeki works well with Quaking Mirror Force Just Position your monsters before taking them out with Raigeki and summon Espionage Expert or activate Ancient Gear Cannon's special effect before going on an all out assault just incase your opponent has a trap such as mirror force even though there are times where you've got no option but to take the chance and if that is the case then keep a good defence monster in defence position just in case.
Thanks, but i prefer my fairy box to protect me instead
Benn Doversun now _THAT'S_ power
I could imagine revolver have a field day with all these
iNuclearCreeper Gaming When I saw Revolver pull out mirror force and all his combos with that card. I was like Yugi where you at?
who?
Nice Video :)
Only thing I have to critic is that you could've mentioned that in this particular time period the quacking mirror force is now "worse" because you can't put link monsters in face-down (*ass first xD*) defence position. I still agree with everything else you said but I thought it was worth mentioning :)
Forgot to mention how quaking mirror force can't flip links therefore isn't used anymore, nor mentioned mirror force launcher nor dragon
Blazing Mirror Force has also seen some play in Trickstars including the list that topped YCS Salt Lake City.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
the original mirror force off the "Metal Raiders" booster states "negate the attack" had no idea the reprints changed that ruling
U must play 1 of each Mirror Force in your deck in the finals of the Yugioh Grand Championship. Like this so Dzeff sees 😁
Blue eyes Chaos Mirror force paleomonarch lair of darkness frogs in finals?
@@paulitics3629 your forgot brilliant fusion.
theoriginal mirror force negated BEFORE the erattas, hence the confusion
Drowning mirror force is the one I use the most and its my most fav card.
Dark mirror force is great for combos with cards that force battle positions, Quaking Mirror force is good with Dark. Blazing + a card like Damage mage.
Mirror Force is my favorite card because of its sound effect in the anime. ✨✨✨
1:09 The original mirror force said "negate the attack and destroy all atk position monsters"
I guess it was slightly changed around the time it became a common in a structure deck.
3:17 if super heavy samurai ever becomes meta we’ll be ready.
first version of mirror force from MRD had in its text: negate the attack and destroy all face up att. pos. monsters... but for some reason they changed it later so its abit less OP :D
Sure
When Dark Mirror Force was released I immediately put it into my Dream Clown Deck. DMF has worked really well with Stumbling. The good old times.
In my Fun Deck i play DMF with Lose 1 Turn. I know... table 500.
What’re your thoughts on Ghostricks? Little off topic from this vid, but it’s my favorite deck and I just wanna know.
The original mirror force is actually now searchable with some continuous trap from CYHO, so there's that
