Rather disturbing that you would present to the College alumni such a heavily biased report from a person who makes absolutely no effort to be fair-minded or impartial. These protests have been very harmful and damaging to many people. Last spring was a horror and accomplished nothing. I was on campus as a Columbia College student in 1968. I still have PTSD from that. I will never forget watching the protestors' determined (but unsuccessful) attempt to literally burn down Butler Library by throwing flaming trash cans through the windows. And now witnessing what happened this spring on campus has made it much worse. "Active and dynamic tradition of radical protest at Columbia". Give me a break!
