To all watch makers... Make thinner cases. Dress watches should be 11 mm thick or less (case and crystal). Less is better. If you make 36mm diameter watch it should be 9mm thick at most.
This watch came out of nowhere and went straight to the top of my “future purchase” list. I told myself that I wouldn’t buy anything this sale, but if this comes in at the good price…Thanks for the great review. The brown and blue straps are awesome! And I have a 7 in. so this is literally perfect for my wrist. That SN0144 is beyond awesome. Damn it. Time to talk to my wife again about why my collection has to expand…😅
I’m waiting for the 11/11 sale to pick the gold tone one. I don’t have a single gold plated in my collection and my 6.25” wrist will love it! Thanks for the great video as always 🎉
Would buy one if they will make the same watch with a smooth bezel with an Oyster bracelet and a high beat movement. Even better with a vintage correct folding clasp without buttons.
@@unwokeneuropean3590 My 36 mm Octopus Kraken 016 (Rolex OP Date homage - Engine turned bezel) is only 10,9 mm thick with it's PT5000 automatic movement, it's a fantastic looking watch and wears wonderfully (16,75 cm wrist size here).
40mm datejusts are just wrong on all levels. The actual dials on 36mm are larger than a 40mm+ dive watch with a bezel. Give 36mm a try for a week and become a convert

the OG watch that inspired this model also has similar thickness. vintage proportion.
That’s because of the movement choice, NH35 is affordable but not thin enough to achieve a dress watch level of thinness
Spot on! Someone had to make it clear 😉
9mm, you can dream on it only if it'll be a quartz one or... minimum +500$

that B logo looks nice. Beautiful watch.
@@TomasWatchReviews yeah, they did great with this one. Thanks for watching, Tomas
I love this type of clasp for this size and type of watch. I think an on the fly clasp would be way to big for a watch like this. Take note proxima.
That is a just about perfect watch. I would have preferred a president bracelet, but I would absolutely wear that as is.
President is what would make me buy this right now!
Comparing this to the Parnis dj 36mm would be a good video since the Parnis one is also a vintage dj homage
Great review of a great watch.
@@frankdirscherl2345 thank you🤜🤛
I need that watch.

This might be my fave baltany ever looks just like the real deal and easily 5 times the price it's going at
I can't decide between this or the ironwatch OP
Very impressive.
Could you compare this with rmalti 36 dj, octopus airking? Im finding a 36mm dj homage on alix.
Once you start to value vintage-style DateJusts you won’t look back.
Parnis makes the same model with a miyota movement the only difference is that the indexes are not numbered.
@@aldolirosi7658 I reviewed the Parnis, it's not nearly as nice as this one. It's good, but this has the better....well everything, really.
In my opinion this watch would look a lot better with a slightly cream coloured dial
light champagne also looks good. adds warmth.
Please a blue sunburst dial, a 28800 bph movement (PT5000) for a thinner case it would be perfect.
36mm is a perfect size but 12mm is too thick for people who usually wear small watches. I would take a quartz watch just to make it super thin.

Can you tell me if it is better than the San Martin homage , Pagani or octopus kraken ?
better than rolex
@@zillsburyy1 better than the one it's homaging that's for sure. Movement aside, and even then 🤷
Lol
Nawak 🤡
I love this new baltany but I’m waiting for 39mm or 40mm
36mm is too small for me but watch is beautiful
36 and 37mm are dress watches size. I can wear timex marlin 34mm anyday.

@@aethelwulfwarlord1475 doubt that my friend I’m a fan of 39mm date just. Or a 40 it just looks and feels right on the wrist
Replace the B logo with a double marker and you got a winner
looks cheaper than old titoni, pronto, or even west end watch...
Too thick IMHO. Really wish they would use a miyota here and get ut down to 10mm or so. Also tue clasp is meh
That thing looks tiny on your wrist TBH
Looks perfect to me.
