Good morning Sarah, so happy to see your new video, I also have a lot of lemongrass around my home and moringa trees, here in West Central Florida the weather is very similar to your climate in Southern India, not sure if the humidity is as high as here, it gets extremely hot in the summer here from June to end of October, have a wonderful day💖

Hi Sarah, you could also plant the Indian pennywort or manimuni as we call it in my language in the herbal garden. It is a very useful plant to deal with stomach problems like ulcers and also for UTIs. You can also boil it and drink the juice during hot days to keep you cool.

Thank you ! I just researched the plant and found out that it grows in my garden. I am using it in addition to other greens in my green smoothies sometimes , but I will try out to make a drink to cool down as it is soo hot right now

Hi Sarah, thank you again for your lovely video... and please help me to understand the plant you told which helps for the soar throat, it looks like a kind of oregano, is that correct? I have this plant here. 🙂 (I'm French spoken so trying to figure out and learn the plants names in English as well as tropical plants ;-) Does curry leaves are one spice of those used to prepare the curry spice we all know? your intuitive recipe of dried banana seems great, I couldn't catch the seeds name you put on... many thanks for your help in writing down so that I can catch the names. 💗

Hi Estelle , the plant in the beginning we call here indian oregano and the botanical name is Coleus amboinicus and it tastes like a mix of oregano and thyme , the leaves have a strong flavour and I mostly use them in teas or to flavour salads and dressings. The curry leaves are sometimes used in curry powders ,but it is actually not the main component , but used as a flavour in South Indian dishes , mostly fried with mustard seeds to put on top of coconut chutneys;) On top of the bananas I just put some chilly flakes and little bit of salt together with the curry leaves.

@@MyFoodForest many thanks Sarah for your answer and found out I have similar oregano here in Cameroon, and indeed the leaves have strong flavor. I'll try them in teas ;-)
