My husband was in so much pain for so many years and always listened to sully when he was in the worst pain, it's what got him through it. I got to take him to see Godsmack live this last October when they played with shine down, it was the first time he saw them live. He passed away on May 6th, going home knowing he is not there each day is the hardest. I am so glad he got to see him live before he went. I've lost a family member before. I hear this song and I think of her, my great grandmother at the age of 93 it was rough watching her go because she wasn't the same person after her strokes. For 2 years my family watched her slowly see herself become weak, and then eventually pass... it's like I'm 14 again on spring break of 2009 and I'm walking with her casket again.

Sully is really one of this generation's greatest musicians, he's not just a singer or song writer, the man can play a multitude of music styles and instruments with skill and its just amazing to hear such a powerful song from him.

Sully is a musician that I respect highly!! God gave him his talent! Sully didn't come up w/it on his own. Hopefully Sully knows that, which I'm sure he does. Jesus would love for him to sing love songs to Him in praise & worship. Yes, I'm a christian and a drummer of almost 25yrs nxt month.

I've lost a family member before. I hear this song and I think of her, my great grandmother at the age of 93 it was rough watching her go because she wasn't the same person after her strokes. For 2 years my family watched her slowly see herself become weak, and then eventually pass... it's like I'm 14 again on spring break of 2009 and I'm walking with her casket again.
