Godzilla has a fantastic sculpt, fantastic paint applications, a fantastic accessory, and a great range of articulation. I highly recommend this figure!

That scene from the movie this Godzilla came from, unique, but awesome entrance from a fantastic entry in the Godzilla franchise.

I agree, after King Ghidorah's repaint comes out, I hope to see that variety of Showa and Millennium that Tamashii promised, especially a Godzilla (1973), or a Baragon (2001).

Emergence version definitely elevates the figure in the line-up. The dusty paint apps make him look more like a weathered veteran next to the other Godzilla's instead of just a smaller old-man'ish figure with gray eyebrows and cloudy eyes. The effect part is unique and fits his mouth. Definitely one of my favorites in the line.
That intro was awesome! I can imagine it took you quiet a few times. I usually have to re-shoot a scene about 3 times before I can get it to look the way I wan't it. Also, did you use green screen effects for the flying dirt?
Yup something as simple as rising up took me two hours to animate. It took a while, but it’s worth it.
The end result is always worth it.

This is a great figure! I own the original release, it's my favorite out of the 3 S.H. Monsterarts G's that I own (the other 2 are 2000 Millenium repaint version and 54).

Taking aside the obvious seamline crossing the stomach, I quite like this monsterarts and I would buy it if it was easily available for me. I loved the animated intro, good review!!

I have one question about this figure. Is it molded from the softer plastic that was seen since the first Godzilla 2000 release? Or is it about the same as the first release of Godzilla 1964?

3:52 why did the leg make a sound of a ratchet joint, apart from it being stupidly tight?
I love this intro, one day can you do another stop motion intro?
The gap between the dorsal plates doesn’t really bother me that much. It’s barely even noticeable

Awesome review Diego, I was waiting for a review on this figure and you delivered, I completely agree with you on the repainted, I think everyone does. If we don't see a new sculpt and or figure after ghidorah then I'm going to start losing hope for the line. Fantastic review by the way!

Unfortunately, this is one of those times I have to disagree with you. I think he looks terrible as the "dirt" doesn't do much. It looks more like a figure that has been sitting on a shelf untouched for a year more than actually coming out of the ground. Not the figure I was hoping we were going to get. Nevertheless, I have a question for you. Is the tip of the tail and upper torso peg tighter? They love to fly off of my original if you sneeze.
