Betty White was amazing for showing up. I actually did watch Golden Girls growing up. We didn't have cable and it was the funniest show on at the time. I loved her character. But Estelle was the best actress on that show.
Adam Driver should be higher, he literally makes SNL better everytime he's on. All of the skits are classics and you can tell he treats the show with reverence for whats come before. Its actually quite surprising he wasnt in the top 5 he brings something special
Maybe Top 10, but he's got a LONG way to go to reach Martin, Goodman, Hanks, Baldwin and Walken. Steve Martin is definitely the best, considering he's done a great job just about every time he's returned .. a phenomenal 48+ years.
That's a pretty tight list. Honorable mention to Chance The Rapper. I had never heard of him until he hosted SNL. I presume that rapping is his bread and butter, but he's so funny you'd think he was a stand up or improv comic by trade.
Great list for a show In it’s 48th season. Betty White was indeed the oldest and she was hilarious. HM to George Carlin, comic Genius. who who hosted the very first episode and Robert De Niro. It would wonderful if you could so do a list with ex cast members as hosts like Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy
Paul Rudd,Betty White is fantastic😁,Adam Driver fantastic😁Dwayne Jonson,Scarlet😁Jon Hamm Ema Stone,Drew Barrymore great😁,Tom Hanks love it😁,John Goodman,Justin Timberlake,Christopher Walken legend😁,Alec Baldwin. Steve Martin deserving number 1😊 Perfect😁 Sorry for counting all of them :) I love the video. Perfect😁
Between Pedro Pascal and Christopher Walken, I stay with Walken. If you see his sketches for the first time, you never know what goes through his mind. It just comes out naturally.
Walken and SNL missed a golden opportunity to demand more "ooga chooga" in "Hooked on a Feelin" by Blue Swede. "You are doin fine, but, I need more OOGA CHOOGA!

Totally agree.
Agree whole heartedly!!!!!
But he hasn't been on SNL long enough.
My favorite host was Pedro Pascal he was so good in all of the sketches and his monologue was great.
That hospital bed sketch despite how stupid it was, hilarious.
He should have been in the list… even as an honorable mention
I have no problem with her not being on the list but I always thought Anne Hathaway was severely underrated for her hosting gigs.
Adam Driver at 17 is a travesty. No one else has had such a high ratio and volume of hit sketches (maybe Melissa McCarthy).
The undercover boss skit is one of my favourites.
Maybe Top 10, but he's got a LONG way to go to reach Martin, Goodman, Hanks, Baldwin and Walken. Steve Martin is definitely the best, considering he's done a great job just about every time he's returned .. a phenomenal 48+ years.
Betty Whites monologue was the best I’ve ever heard!!! 😂
I can't believe you left Ryan Gosling off the list. Also, Kerry Washington has been pretty impressive when she's hosted, as has Sandra Oh.
You left out Drake
The late Chadwick Boseman was my favorite host.
That’s a lie. But I get why you’re saying it lol. Trying to get likes
God I laughed so hard at his sketches.
I know it's fairly recent but Pedro Pasqual was one of my faves
That's a pretty tight list. Honorable mention to Chance The Rapper. I had never heard of him until he hosted SNL. I presume that rapping is his bread and butter, but he's so funny you'd think he was a stand up or improv comic by trade.
He absolutely killed it. I would have put them in the top 20
Good list. I hope Pedro Pascale hosts again. He should have at least been an honorable mention.
❤ Betty White!
My favorites are Melissa McCarthy, Justin Timberlake, Paul Rudd, Tom Hanks, and Pedro Pascal.
Both John Goodman and Bill Murray have to be my favorite SNL hosts 🤣💕📺
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! My all time favorite is De Niro and Pesci who came to The Joe Pesci show uninvited. 🤣
ADAM DRIVER IS WORTHY OF TOP 5 AT LEAST! I've been WAITING since January 2020 for him to host again.
Betty white in “Man on the Moon” 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Pedro Pascal had one of the best episodes in the last five years. I’m surprised he didn’t make the cut.
Paul Rudd is awesome and so funny in everything. Glad he got in big stuff so he could get on the show

I still love the Oil Baron sketch
Awesome, right on point
Lest we forget Melissa McCarthy actually WAS a cast member...if only for a single season.
I didn’t realize Candace Bergen wasn’t a regular cast member LOL
Paul Rudd,Betty White is fantastic😁,Adam Driver fantastic😁Dwayne Jonson,Scarlet😁Jon Hamm Ema Stone,Drew Barrymore great😁,Tom Hanks love it😁,John Goodman,Justin Timberlake,Christopher Walken legend😁,Alec Baldwin. Steve Martin deserving number 1😊 Perfect😁 Sorry for counting all of them :) I love the video. Perfect😁
So excited to watch Pete Davidson hosting next Saturday
The famous Betty White (may she rest in peace).
McCarthy and Walken embody a commitment to comedy that makes me squirm *and* laugh
all of these people are so funny lmao
Believe it or not Sylvester Stallone was really good on it too. He did a great night at the Roxbury sketch and a funny frank Stallone gag as well
Baldwin is a better trump than trump himself. I loved that impression
Personal favorite is Christopher Walken. Always goes balls out. Non stop. Cow bell was priceless.
Sounds like fun!
Pedro pascal was terrific. The hospital scene was hilarious but I think i'm absolutely in love with him In the steakhouse scene.
Travis Kelce, Ariana Grande and Rami Malek was my favorite hosts
Paul Simon was one of the first Hosts and he deserves to be much higher.
Paul Rudd is a vampire.
Steve Martin was one of the Best 😊😊😊
he still is
lol hes not dead yet
Love your spam
Ive seen almost every episode from every season ever. My favorite episode was Seth McFarline
Richard pryor was and always will be the goat
I found Seth MacFarlane to be fricken hilarious as a host and wishes he could do it again
Peyton Mannings episode was really good.
Do you want to lose?
@@fromthehaven94 classic
I just finished watching that episode...lmbo 😅
Until you realize he actually is like that
@@Bman32x like what? Peyton Manning is a REALLY nice guy
Has Steve Martin ever not looked old?
I think he went gray at 19
Seeing him without white hair is very jarring.
Between Pedro Pascal and Christopher Walken, I stay with Walken. If you see his sketches for the first time, you never know what goes through his mind. It just comes out naturally.
Lizzo was so good!! She introduced herself as the musical guest!
how the hell is ryan gosling not on this list!!!
thats why dwayne johnson is one of the most sucessful actors and wrestlers the greatest of all time
Soo... we just going to completely ignore Tom Hanks doing Seinfeld before Seinfeld? @13:15
Walken and SNL missed a golden opportunity to demand more "ooga chooga" in "Hooked on a Feelin" by Blue Swede. "You are doin fine, but, I need more OOGA CHOOGA!
STEVE MARTIN!!!! ❤❤❤
Chance the rapper is always amazing
Adam Driver sketches didn't miss (no offense to Alec Baldwin) and should be in the top 10
Putting a murderer second is kinda crazy
Not including John Mulaney is a crime
Former cast members weren't included
@@vinvalle255 oh I missed that, thanks for clarifying
Who is that
SNL is shot in studio 8H. It was referred to as 6H in the video.
Ray Romano killed it when he was on.
Adam driver!
If you're going to talk about Justin why would you not include his iconic contribution to the Lonely island songs???
How is Pedro Pascal not on this list?
Pedro is the perfect host! The end
Will Ferrel was good too. But my recent fave is definitely Adam Driver.
Will Ferrell was a cast member, which disqualifies him from the list...
I like Melissa McCarthy yet watchmojo broke their rules again 0:13
My favorite is Timothee’ Chalamet especially the second time around as host
18:36 Ummm, pretty sure this guy was a cast member on the show...
Melissa McCarthy
Please pass the mash….😂
Powers of Saturday Night Live transcend and its hosts
John Mulaney is my favorite host
I figured he wouldn’t be on this list but chance the rapper is one of my absolute favorites
‘Let’s go do that hockey’ had me in stitches.
Studio 6H? You have the wrong floor at 30 Rock. It’s studio 8H!
Sara Micheal Geller. Major oversight
Solid list. Would just ditch Drew Barrymore.
My favorite was Seth MacFarlane
Don't forget Pedro Pascal
Scarlett "Johansson is a sketch writer's dream". Just ask Colin Jost.
Didn't put Steven seagal... kidding
WTH? No Eddie Murphy? Poorly investigated. Shame Mojo!!!
No Pedro Pascal? No Oscar Issac? For shame, WatchMojo!
0:40 - Um... that SNL is shot in Studio *8*H is probably the most widely known piece of television inside-baseball in the world, folks...
Bring us more Richard Pryor
Where's RYAN GOSLING???
John Malkovitch should have made the list.
Pedro Pascal's episode was one of the funniest I've ever seen.
Adam Driver
Don't forget Elliot Gould.
Ariana Grande was an underrated one.
Betty white was so good that I thought she hosted at least more than 2 times
You would think so. They asked her to host on at least a couple more occasions before she actually did, but she turned them down.
@@bluebear1985 SNLs 2 biggest mistakes only have Betty White host one time, and only one host by Norm MacDonald. Now adays my has it fallen. Bad Bunny next week? Wtf has become of my beloved
@amonrodriguez3518 They can't all be winners. There's still plenty of shows left, and plenty of time to find better hosts for future shows.

Post-Airplane Baby Adam Driver rockets to #1.
Ale Baldwin is the perfect cast for a Donald trump biopic
Steve Martin at #1 ??😮
How in Gods name is Dave Chappelle not on here? The two nights he hosted were the only 2 good shows in the last decade
The people of WatchMojo think hes a White Nationalist
He was a great host, except his douchey monolougues. He actually wanted people to give trump a chance. That WAS funny
@@Ottophil no you gobshite, he was just dancing around a taboo subject like a good comedian instead of just being a populist which isn’t funny at all
Giving any positive recognition to Adam Baldwin is unforgivable, due to the fact that his recklessness caused a death on a film set.
Steve Martin !!!
Jennifer Aniston 🎭
They start out the list saying they won't include people who used to be cast members.....then multiple listed were past cast members.
John Goodman.:)
Um John Mulaney, Pedro Pascal
