- This video demonstrates how to conduct a Discriminant Function Analysis (DFA) as a post hoc test for a Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) using SPSS. Discriminant Analysis is used to determine the probability of categorical group membership using interval or ratio predictor variables.
Great Videos. Really Helpful.
Very helpful
Very nice video 🙏🏾
Hey, great video, thanks! Do you have any recommendations for writing this all up?
Nice video! Is it safe in your example to state that Social interactions had a higher and significant discriminating effect considering the given grouping (programs)?
I am unsure if the discriminant analysis is correct in this scenario, given that the "outcome" variable was experimentally manipulated (determined), isn't the result simply a test of how much the manipulation affected the "predictors"? As in, the outcome is already fixed, and not being "classified" by the measures, it is simply saying how well the variance in the measures correlate to the labels of the manipulation.
