40kg cobia can constantly be caught here around brisbane. Personally I use the catch and release method. Yellowtail kings included as well
Bit far for the Kayak 😂 I think 36kg is the biggest I’ve heard from a kayak on the Sunshine Coast.

Serious question coming from America, do you guys not have a size limit on cobia? Seems like they wouldn’t get that big over there because I see so many small fish get killed.
75cm is the size limit. The big ones that guys get over there are hard to come by over here but it does happen.
Suggestion. Lose the long gaff. Use a 600 gaff. Ish
