It's kinda sad seeing people focusing only on how she sounds nasal instead of paying attention to her gorgeous vocals. I mean, the sustained A4-B4-C5 sounded very good (even if, indeed, it was throaty), and even most of her C5s here were pretty good (Her D5s, E5s and the G5 too obvsly)
@@Minavis_Penguin yeah frr, people like to say that her notes above B4/C5 are tense as hell but she isn't that tensed. It's just that she's very throaty and has a very light voice so it sounds like she strains while it's her tone
she's not competing to anyone, she's still young and give her the time to reach notes according to your preferences, but FOR NOW LET US ALL ENJOY LISTENING TO HER

@@hanatake2353stop saying that. Ningning has been the Aespa member with the most solo promotion this year. Even more than Karina's. So instead of trying to desperately keep this narratif, go support Ningning solo work. And maybe then SM will also remember to give Giselle's some.

@@Portugall_ actually she is also main vocalist with NingNing because Koreans preffer Winter's vocal and Both are C+ tier vocalists so recently they gave Winter the main vocalist position because her voice is more loved in Korea

i did not enjoy this performance tbh😭 she needs to work on lightening her mix in the 5th octave bc the tenseness in the notes is CRAZY it’s like she tries way too hard to sound strong so high in her mix but like without the needed support that’s just damaging. and she doesn’t rly let go of that tenseness when moving down to her comfortable register :/
This was her third song and also talked nonstop. Singing such while sitting stay still, hence what do u expected? Her facial expression didn't even try much tho

But just don’t being up “she sang a lot before this, she talked” etc. every time you see a simple reasonable criticism cause it’s just meaningless. Actually being able still sing well on your last song as well as your first song is also a criteria vocalists are judged on. So saying but “she’s tried” doesn’t mean much.
