      Gardner hands down. He's lockdown. Stingley also has a much higher chance of being a bust or disappointing for high he was drafted compared to Gardner

    • @MP-yc2ou
      @MP-yc2ou 2 года назад +9

      @FrustratedSaintsFan prod. 2 That's not always a given. Look at Dee Milliner. He played top notch competition, had a fast 40, was like the best db his rookie season for Alabama, and had multiple injuries. I feel like Stingley has a good chance of ending up like Milliner, except he wont be out the league hopefully in such a short time. I think he'll be good, but Gardner to me is the trustworthy available lockdown db. As A jets fan, the dee milliner experience is what makes me sketch about stingley.

  • @PeterSedesse
    @PeterSedesse 2 года назад +276

    The part that is always missing is that Cinci was by far the better team and had constant pressure on the Memphis. I think Austin will be a bit more like AB, where a lot of his receptions will come after the initial route is over and the QB starts to move. AB greatly benefits by Big Bens ability to extend plays a few seconds and keep his eyes downfield. When your QB is getting hit within 3 seconds, it plays against Austin's abilities.

    • @funinlv32
      @funinlv32 2 года назад +7

      They are gonna press Austin off the line, he struggled with it. Gonna have to learn how to get off it, and Canada gonna have to scheme to keep it off him as well. If they can get over that hurdle he could be dangerous.

    • @GetShmanged
      @GetShmanged 2 года назад +2

      In theory every NFL receiver should be able to make plays when their qb extends the play. They're in the NFL, they all have playmaker abilities, some more than others, but extended low pressure plays should be 100% conversions regardless of the reciever

      @@carmine_ Then you weren't watching and you saw what you wanted to. Austin caught 2 balls for 50 yards on him and got a pen when Sauce had to mug him to prevent him going deep: it led to a flag. If Gardner doesn't tackle him to stop him? That is 70 yard plus TD. In other clips Sauce is beaten again and again. On the 5th rep, Austins stacks him and is leaving him in the dust. Gardner was forced to grab his arm to slow him down well beyond initial 5 yards.
      Even on play Gardner nearly picked off? Austin beat him and if QB put throw out front of Austin? He catches it and leaves Gardner looking at his heels.
      Only Memphis awful AB and crappy oline prevented Sauce from having a nightmare of a day.
