My manga journey started with horror, then I got more into seinen (mature audience stuff), but recently I too got into Spy x Family (Anya is adorable). Now I don't know much about your tastes (got a yt recommendation), but I think you might enjoy 20th Century Boys. It's a great mystery series. Does maybe have alot of characters at first, but you'll get to know most of them.
Hey this video showed up on my recommended, I liked it a lot! I have a few recommendations for you, maybe random but all popular and important works (in my opinion). Card captor sakura for a classic magical girl story. Paradise Kiss for a romantic, full of flowers but realistic love story in the world of fashion. Fullmetal alchemist if you want to go into the action genre. and if you ever want to torment yourself with a dark story, Berserk is probably the best manga in history. good luck!
In the video I posted today, I read the first issue of Cardcaptor Sakura, Paradise Kiss, and Berserk - all were great and by now I've read the first two volumes of Berserk. Appreciate your input!!

Try Frieren. It is being adapted to anime so you can try that instead as well.
