every time I'm more and more convinced that Mycroft one of the most underrated charachters ever! like people pay so much attention to John (and this is ok of course) but Mycroft deserves not less attention. His and Sherlock relationship deserves being appriciated( the way Mycroft cared about Sherlock, this is so precious

Both brothers are well aware of the imagery of false pretense of personality but play it anyways.....the real sick part, each brother realizes they have taken each one side of the same coin.....and play the reverse just as well.....not a competition.....a choice....to be who they define to be....doesn't matter if it's real or not.....that's a brother my friends.

Mycroft really was great in the series. Keeping his brother from destroying himself. Making sure his psychopath sister doesn’t become a danger. And keeping the Government of Her Majesty functioning.
