How to chat with Microsoft Copilot in Word | Microsoft

Copilot Pro in Word generates drafts, summarizes, and helps you rewrite your content. In addition to creating content, Copilot in Word has the ability to answer questions about the document you're reading. Once Copilot responds to your prompt, you can also view references with citations from where Copilot pulled information in your document.
Ask questions about this document:
1. Summarize this document - Need to get to the essence of the document quickly? Type Summarize this document into the Copilot chat pane to get a bulleted summary of the document.
2. Is there a call to action? - Wondering if the document contains a meaningful call to action? Ask Copilot, and it'll attempt to tell you.
Ask open-ended questions:
Want to add some content or context to your document? Ask Copilot general questions, and it'll try to give you answers.
For example
1. How can I edit this document to make it sound more academic?
2. Is there a quote by a United States President about courage?
If those answers aren't in the document, Copilot will generate content for you using the underlying large language models. If you find something you like and want to add it to the document, just copy and paste from the Copilot pane to the document.

Note: This feature is available to customers with a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license or Copilot Pro license.
You can access Copilot Pro via the Copilot app on the web, and in select Microsoft 365 apps on Windows, macOS, and iPadOS. On these platforms, you can use Copilot Pro benefits in apps like Bing, Edge, and Start. For OneNote users Copilot Pro benefits will only be visible in Windows.

I have tried these AI chat bots. They do get hurt. It means, they close-down the chat abruptly, if they can't answer promptly. In anyways, these chat bots seem to work essentially by collecting the "peripheral" information from the search engines. But, 99% of such information is irrelevant. Further, these bots do not seem to have the ability to effectively omit the information which has already been fetched, and hence, no matter how effectively we change the keywords, they often provide the same information over and over. Further, unlike how we can differentiate the information which is essential and which is not, these bots do not seem to get acquainted to such ability anywhere soon. All the aforesaid characteristics may be proportionately attributable to their designers & programmers. So, if I may express my opinion, these chat bots are 99% useless.
