- Hi guys! I’m back with a (TINY) Japanese Apartment TOUR in TOKYO, JAPAN! Hope you guys enjoy getting an inside look at a small/normal size and affordable apartment for one person in the heart of Tokyo, Japan located in Kichijōji. I had such a great time (home) staying with Rika this summer, definitely check her out by searching: “Cozy in Kichijoji” on AIRBNB if you wanna stay near major cities like Shinjuku and Shibuya! Some of you guys may be thinking that this apartment looks small, but things in Japan in general are a bit small in comparison to America. This apartment is a pretty average size and after staying here for over a week I got used to it and really liked the size for one person! ~ stay til the end for bloopers :)

I imagine the price for that size might also depend on the area you are in? However, if I am living alone I don't think I would need more space than this to live comfortably. She decorated her apartment well :)

Hey Paris...I enjoyed your video! $500/month is cheap for a studio apartment and it's doable. Here in Cali I pay $1300/month for my studio apartment, but it's bigger and I don't have to pay for the utilities. So there's a trade-off. Keep those videos coming please! Love ya!

We have been here! Me and my roommate/friend on colej our teacher told that we have to study Japanese foods, so we have to study at Japan. We travel to Japan and we rent this apartment. Sadly, my roommate is a messy roommate so our apartment is SUPER MESSY! But its fun tho. I totally recommended for u guys.

How many square meters is this place? It's so cute! I am moving to Japan in a couple weeks and I found a place that looks similar, but I'm having trouble thinking about what 16 square meters looks like. So it'd be great to have a point of comparison!

I actually don't know, but I don't think Rika would be comfortable giving that out on the internet. There's plenty of housing options in Japan though! You can try to contact her through airbnb if you want to!

For anyone looking to get an apartment in Japan, those are Leo Palace apartments and they all look IDENTICAL, and are usually really affordable and have wifi included (getting that shit set up in Japan is MURDER if you don't speak Japanese, and even if you do it still takes weeks). Not sponsored, but I lived in Osaka for years and it's just a helpful tip.
