I applied to become a captioner and they never got back to me. Still not sure if that meant "no," or they just missed it. Would have appreciated a concrete response.
Update: I got approved!! It took 2 ½ months from when I submitted my application

I applied to be a transcriptionist months ago and I just got an approval email yesterday. So it can take time!

Hello, I think I am a little confused. What do you mean that one should keep within 45 minutes for quality assurance so that they can grade your metrics? I thought it did not matter exactly how long it took you to finish one transcribe?

Do you have to be 18 to use this website? I am 16 with the permission of my parents.
it says on their FAQ:
"If you are under 13 years of age, you are not authorized to use the Service, with or without registering. In addition, if you are under 18 years old, you may use the Service, with or without registering, only with the approval of your parent or guardian."
but this is kind of confusing? can anyone help?
it means if you’re 13 or younger, you cannot legally work at rev. if you’re over 13 you can with permission of a parent.

Do you know how does it work for translator? I speak Italian and English and when I applied they asked me for my resume and a little 80 characters introduction. Then Nothing 😅

Yes. It's online, your location matters very little to them.

New jobs come in every couple seconds. It is very difficult to go full time because the top revvers make $1000+ a month, but the average is $245 a month.

You can’t do it on your phone? Also how much money do you make on average in a month
You probably try to do it on your phone. I haven't tried it or saw any recommendations for oing it that way while researching it and I've never tried doing the transcripts from my phone but homestly, I think it would be a little challenging. In my opinion, I think it would be less challenging doing it from a computer. The pay a month is going to vary on how many transcripts or captions you do. You can make a little or a lot.
