Crash Course is a drama series that follows the life of eight new students who have come to study in Kota’s two biggest, rival coaching institutes. The Ratanraj Jindal vs. Arvind Batra rivalry is an old one. They are the owners of the top institutes, hell-bent upon finishing the other to gain complete control of the education business in Kota. Their no-holds-barred rivalry is akin to a chess game. The pawns in this game, are the students and the teachers. The 8 core students - Anil, Sathya, Aviral, Rakesh, Vidhi, Shanaya, Tejal and Nikki, represent the half a million that throng the city of Kota every year with their dreams and ambitions. Their student life is full of fun and camaraderie in the beginning but slowly the pressures and the competition intensifies. The show follows the journey of these students as they find friendship, experience first love, heartbreaks, peer pressure, and lose the innocence of youth. To all who were impressed by last line, I just want to say that don't get misguided by these series. I don't have many friends during my preparation days for JEE but after clearing it and get admission to IIT Kanpur, i make a lots of friends and enjoy ourselves very much. Even after 6 years we are still friends and I am in contact with only 2 friends from my preparation days.
So, prepare for your dreams and your family dream. There is no fix time for friendship.
This is true. The first thing I felt after the last line was the misguidance it might give out to the ones who are in this in real life. Focus and study well. The life once you clear the exam is not a haux, it's awesome as it sounds

And if you have your friends from IIT K then I would say either you are lucky or you are faking it.
What the last line perhaps meant was there some stipulated time for friendship which is true in some sense

Nothing against this Series. The first half of the trailer looked quite different from what an aspirant life in Kota would look like. Kota Factory nailed it when it came to the aspects or realism and hope this series does the same.

Kota Factory was a good series but after watching this trailer I feel that it was a masterpiece, whether it is teachers, students or the grandeurs of Maheshwari classes, all were portrayed eloquently. Now, this trailer represents Kota more like in a Goa image, a dark gloomy environment. Also, the last dialogue is completely incorrect, you can have great friends at any point of time. It can happen in school, in coaching classes, in college, and even at work. I got peers who are now my close friends.

While Kota Factory showed the jee preparation side of Kota, Crash course is much more darker and covers student struggles, mental health and toxic commercialization of education in Kota. Both are masterpieces in their own right! Eagerly waiting for season 2 and jindal-shashank merger !!

Just completed the show and DAMNNN it's amazing. Don't judge it by the trailer. Just give it a try. It will amaze you. It shows a different side of Kota. It portrays a multitude of stories and emotions.

Awesome story..might look unrealistic and negative to some but this doesn't mean those things are not happening to somebody. Shows the dark side of the system and life very well doesn't mean it happens to everybody going there. It was important for the truth.. the story to be told.

This series was just way to amazing this is gonna better than kota factory and aspirants this shows wat all u go through in ur life here, i been a student of an institute for 2 years ya I definitely related most of the stuffs show here….its must watch for kota students truely a masterpiece thankyou the director, writer and of course actors u all did excellent job!

I dedicated my entire time to study but I didn't have guidance and covid really made my coaching which was already bad to horrible. I won't get into IIT for sure so I will have to join Pvt college since I got bits goa and vit vellore but that's far from what I wanted. I won't take a drop year. But I think just not making friends and studying won't give you a seat. You need the right teachers, right parents, rights peers who motivate you to study and right studying environment and right material. Without all these you are just not getting into IIT/NIT. That's the harsh reality. In India studying hard alone won't get you a seat and many people do that.
I'm in kota right now for my preparation and to be honest things are very different from these web series so don't form your opinion based on these series cause reality is totally different

I have seen the entire series, the trailer does not showcase the different aspects of this series at all,Kota factory was amazing no doubt but this series talks abt the different aspects of Kota,the social difficulties of students and teachers and especially the POV of the coaching staff and their heads. The rivalry between different institutions and how they treat students as nothing more than a marketing plan has been depicted really well.
The best part abt this series is that it doesn't consist of 10 episodes of mini stories but a single story that starts and ends really well. It touches important issues that have not been discussed by any series till date and should definitely be a must watch for both students and parents .
