well now its even worse cause of the whirring sound (1:00 - 1:10) this jumpscare (2:10 - 2:37) and this one (2:38 - 3:08) also cause the annoucements are now more distorted
NO. I think they are still staying at GoA 2. The only difference is that it exchanges old man card to Passion Silver. Some people keep their old man's card, therefore it will be made possible to Tuas West Extension (pre-installed) or C151B (btw Joo Koon & Pasir Ris) - is like reporting lost.
The trains cannot be driverless under the new or old system. Under the old system, the trains are semi-automated under normal operations, the drivers controls the opening/closing of the doors. The trains are occasionally manually driven in the event of inclement weather conditions. Under the new signalling system, the doors are now automated. For both the old and new system, the train still needs to be manually driven out of the depot. The trains don't "wake up" and start the day automatically like the NEL/CCL/DTL trains, so a train driver is still needed on NSEWL.
0:00 Signalling fault at Sembawang?
They said Canberra wtf
WHERE DID YOU GET CANBERRA FROM!?
I hear sembawang and Canberra (I know they did not say sembawang and Canberra)
have no idea why they made ALL trains with new door closing announcements, how does that affect system?
well now its even worse cause of the whirring sound (1:00 - 1:10)
this jumpscare (2:10 - 2:37)
and this one (2:38 - 3:08)

i never heard the whirring b4
I heard this in February but engine gets a little bit annoying distorted.
@@riclee371 i guess youre lucky haha
I think, The engine gets system worst, Click 11.23PM The 2:11 the announcement gets distorted and engines low down.
Well looks like the HHPSD got better communication with the trains (flashing red when doors closing announcement, PSD opening before train doors)
Nigel Loke smoother stopping also
Wanted to try but the perks of being a Tampines resident HAHA
Nigel Loke I stay just one MRT stn away from you hahas.. took the last bus home after filming this video.
I'll just wait for 2018 then hehe
Nigel Loke there will be another trial on Thursday I heard. Maybe you can check smrt Facebook page for updates.
How come you got a free complementary ride ticket
SMRT gave them out to all the passengers, probably to thank us for our patience during the change in signalling system.
finally SMRT gives a free ride JUST for once
Nice ending.
What set is this train?
Question
Is NSEW line are driver"less" all the time?
DevilNg92 Depends, I think usually they use CM mode when stopping at stations or to slow down..

Timothy Altrinch i am not asking about this silver passion card stuff
I am asking about the train is driver"less"
The trains cannot be driverless under the new or old system. Under the old system, the trains are semi-automated under normal operations, the drivers controls the opening/closing of the doors. what train set was this?
SBS 3920B 023/024 I guess
technically the whole train is fully automatic like NEL CCL DTL under the new system
Nice
