Hi Carys Seasonal Affective Disorder i used to suffer badly from it once 16.00 came my mood used to plummet but i now factor a month away in sunnier climes in december and it has been fantastic it gives me enough stores of Vitamin D to cope with the winter xx
Your “affect” is how you are feeling - so someone with “flat affect” appears low/sad. If you say “affect was bright” someone looks happy. So seasonal affective disorder is your mood being influenced by a season (doesn’t quite come from a season affecting you 😅).
You’re so inspiring Carys 💗💗 Just thought you might find it interesting, “affective” in SAD is actually another word for emotions that’s how I remember it. “Affect” means feeling states and moods, so SAD means emotions disordered by seasons xx
Sometimes i wonder if your kids have an advantage learning to talk because of how much you talk to the camera around them! Plus the fact that you talk "normally" to the camera and not kinda baby talk. Honestly probably contributes! 😁
Cary’s can I say I’m a mum of 2,I’m 53 my son is 22 n daughter is 19. They’re so so diff n yes we have a lot less pics n videos of my daughter n she was very much aware of it,she was never upset about it or annoyed.but she always said she had great memories of time spent with her,one day before she went off to uni we sat down together n wrote down all things she remembered n some we did,so that she had her memories to look back on as well . We also put her favourite toys etc from her childhood in a memory box we made together,then if we didn’t have all her toys etc we went on Vinted n found them . So very happy days she may not have her photos or video,but she has her box of stuff from birth to 18 ❤ Sorry if this is a waffle Cary’s but it’s just an idea for you to help stop mummy guilt ❤😊❤
I’m sure the not loving pasta thing is a man thing. My other half is the same, so underwhelmed by it yet I could eat it every day and treat it like it’s the best meal 😂
Hey sweetheart, looking fantastic has always going on to mables cough, keep an eye on her breathing, her coughing that much could lead to it turning nasty, if I were you I would get a second opinion from somewhere else, my youngest Amber had that nasty cough, she coughed that much, she struggled to breathe we ended up in hospital she had bronchitis (RSV)
Carys check out “sensitive periods” in the early years. Mabel seems like she’s in a sensitive period for movement at the moment, her speech and babbling will come once she has completed her goals in this one 🩷
Could amber be any cuter❤, she is such a polite young lady, her speech is so good.
You can really tell Amber benefits from spending time with her grandparents - Speech, manners and confidence is so good.
